I think these were discovered by the Earl of Sandwich when he landed in South America and wore them to play bowls on Plymouth Hoe whilst smoking a new plant called a potato. Anyhow I think they were then made famous by the Duke of Dunlop at the Battle of Waterloo where it was very muddy.I got them for taking Barney for walkies during the winter. They turned out to be too big for him so I wear them instead.

Good quality and excellent fit cant fault them at all, exactly as described with good cleated soles for good grip and nice length for the uppers for protection in wet conditions.

Good solid boot, quite heavy. Fit is true to size but not generous. Too early to comment on durability but very good value

Boots arrived on time. Just as described, bought them for dog walking just the job!Bought them to replace Hunter Boots, which had split after little wear.

I live on a farm so my boots need to be high quality and comfortable. These fit the bill perfectly and the extra length is useful. They look as though they will last a long time. I could easily get on two pairs of socks so they are generous in size.
