For what I use this for, it's fantastic. I use this as a way to play my nintendo switch on my projector and not have my console on the same small stand my projector sits on, and as a way to play movies from my computer to that same projector. it works great for these two uses, keeping in mind that any other type of gaming is going to suffer from a low refresh rate ( max is 60hz) that is great for movies, but twitchy fps games or online fighting games will most likely feel a bit laggy. If you're fully aware of what you're getting, this is such a game changer. sending HDMI wirelessly with almost no perceived lag or bandwidth issues to speak of? it almost feels like magic.

What I was hoping to use this for was sending a signal from my living room DVR to a TV in another room. Unfortunately, this requires line of sight, so it will not work for my needs. However, that does not detract from what it does do, and does very well. Imagine, for example, going into a low-tech company to make an impressive presentation - they have a TV mounted on the wall, but instead of running a bulky, ugly cable from your laptop or tablet, you plug in the receiver to their TV, switch inputs and BAM! High-tech presentation is a go. I don't do gaming, so I cannot review that component of the device.

This is my first time using a wireless HDMI solution so I was worried that it would be complicated, but luckily it was very much plug and play!Audio and video stream at good quality and after over 30 hours of use at about 4 ft between transmitter/receiver I have not noticed any lag watching TV/video content with this set.The units are small enough that it's easy to hide them for that seamless display setup without wires going from your entertainment stand to the TV.Overall this is a great value for a wireless display solution with minimal setup!

The TV over the fireplace in the den has an outlet behind it but that one HDMI cable running up the wall to the TV has been a thorn in my side ever since I put it there. I am so glad I have this wireless connection now. The HDMI transmitter and receiver work flawlessly. The same vibrant picture and crystal clear sound as before but no annoying cable to look at. I can’t say what the actual range between the two components might be, but mine are about 20 feet apart and there is no loss in the picture or sound quality. To some, $69 might be a lot to pay to get rid of one cable on the wall, but it was worth every penny to me.

This HDMI transmitter and receiver works great for linking your laptop to a hotel room tv or any other tv so you can either mirror or extend your display. I used it to play movies on my hotel TV without having to log into my account on the TV. The movie and everything else including gaming went through the connection without any problems. The connection is pretty slick, but if you do have any issues just follow the inclosed instructions and it will relink easily. The one thing I did notice is that the sticks get very hot. Just remember to keep them well ventilated to keep them from overheating. Definitely a new addition to my laptop go bag. It saves me the space of carrying the extra HDMI cable.
