A fab, metal case USB drive. Excellent price for a large capacity drive and it performs flawlessly. I bought it to make a bookable drive to install Linux and it was perfect. It's now a handy, fast backup drive. I would happily buy again and recommend it to anyone. P.S. it's also very small and neat!!

Not the fastest usb but I simply wanted to carry videos for watching on tv. A warning about use with tv, the default format is not recognising by my new tvs, so I reformatted to NTFS and it works fine now.

Bought for my granddaughter to backup her school work on a Windows tablet. It's reasonably quick but for some reason my Linux machine does not detect it...even after changing the file system.

👎 Absolutely DO NOT recommend this rubbish. This is nothing more than a blatant marketing scam. My Justification: First, to be fair, in most synthetic benchmarks, the read speed is consistent with, or even higher than, what Kingston declares. And that's where the positive comments about this product end. This pen drive is slower in real-world scenarios than USB 2.0 pen drives that have been available on the market for 10 years. Copying 42 gigabytes of photos takes approximately 45 minutes. The write speed very frequently drops to, and stays for long periods of time, below 3MB/s. The declared 100MB/s lasts for less than half a second at the start of the write process, and it never repeats. There are no reasonable scenarios in which this pen drive could be practically used; it is simply too slow. The only potential use would be as a read-only device in DIY mini-computer projects (such as a Raspberry Pi), and that would only be to experimentally prove that there are many significantly faster storage solutions available in a very similar price bracket. In summary, I haven't seen a worse piece of kit in a very long time.

I like the compact design it's only the width of the USB port, to its quite small. The hoop on the end means you could put it on a keyring. Lots of storage, it's even available with more capacity. Looks smart. Why did you choose this product over others?: Speed, was quoted as being quite high. Looks smart.

Arrived a day earlier than advertised, was in original packaging undamaged. As others have said, it is very small and could easily be misplaced. On checking, the device showed a capacity of 230GB, not 256GB but that was still more than enough as I wanted to copy my WIN 10 desktop to it. Speeds .... I think this is very subjective. It took just under 1 hour to transfer 116GB using a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port which was more than fast enough for my needs.
