手のひらサイズの小さな文法書である。レベルは「中級～上級」とあるから中の上 upper intermediate である。見開きで一つの項目について簡潔に記述してある。普通の文法書のような細かい説明を期待してはいけないが、外国人の学習者が間違いそうな点に絞って説明している。例えば、When I saw Alice, she was playing golf. (I saw Alice in the act of playing golf.) と When I saw Alice, she had been playing gold. (I saw Alice after the game.)といった具合。これは役に立つ。日本人の英語学習者にも有益だと思う。

The size of the book is small, so it is very convenient to carry anywhere. It is perfect for beginners and also for anyone who wants to quickly revise English grammar.
