My husband put this puzzle together... I'm impressed... It's beautiful and is a music box too!

This is worth every penny. I bought this for my niece and we’re putting it together as a team. The quality is top notch and I wanna buy more models.

Haven't put this together as of yet. There sure is a lot of pieces. They should keep him busy. Bought to keep husband busy while recovering from knee surgery. Instructions look easy to follow

Very detailed and visually pleasing model! Well Worth the money and effort however I strongly suggest a few things.1.wait until finished to install front axle-tounge assembly in step 1 as it is always in the way,(i broke my tongue in half ) 2.wait until finished to install Very delicate lamps and top rails, (also broke these during assembly) 3.drive train poorly engineered, bearings are too sloppy and too much right to left end play and drive gears don't mesh properly. I've seen similar complaints in other reviews. After MUCH frustration with this I (engineered the following solutions . 1. In the very first step,first picture, don't assemble as shone! Rather,install part D6 between partD13 (gear) and P3. This makes gears mate properly, otherwise they barely touch each other. 2. fabricate (parts) to make the axle round (like a bearing) next to the gear. Make the (bearing) diameter as large as the widest part of the axle. Fabricate a vertical support to contact the axle so it keeps it from sliding rearward (because of bearing slop). This part will also contact the side of the drive gear to keep the axle from sliding away from the drive gear due to excessive end play in the axle. Leave some clearance in gear teeth, don't make it too tight! Also, angle this support for minimal surface contact (minimize friction) wax these contact surfaces. These modifications made it function perfectly for me. I'm an old retired mechanic so I kind of enjoyed tweaking this thing. If you utilize my advice I think you will really enjoy this build! Works perfectly ,goes about 10 feet on a full windup. I'm sure I have over 50 hours in this,but I sanded ,painted, strained every part. ENJOY!

Daughter love building these ROKR wooden puzzles. Everything fit nicely and looks nice once completed. They are fun to assembled.

Good product, sturdy,and the pieces fit snuggle. Read directions carefully, this isn't meant to be a quick put together. ENJOY it. Contrasting colors are good.

Calling this a musicbox is a stretch; this first one had a music mechanism that did not work at all, returned for replacement. Got a second that sort of works; three twists of the winder max, barely audible and runs about 45 seconds. The good news is the quality of the kit; wood and laser cuts look good and the instructions seem clear if a bit hard to see for these 80+ year old eyes. Recommend. Update: I built this but I doubt I'll buy another such kit. My recommendation to anyone interested is to use a spot of glue on every joint; as you progress through the assembly it becomes more and more likely that previous steps come loose and going back is a pain. Lowered to 3 stars.

A challenging project with delicate parts

Just be careful removing parts from the sheets. Although they do give you two pieces in case you break one. Very impressed. Lot of thought gone into the production process.

Nice puzzle details except for the mechanical music box which is small and fragile. That broke almost immediately. So, no wind-up, no music, and no movement.

Love it. Bought one for the Granddaughter.
