Very fine powder
It's talcum powder and works better for me than corn starch (corn starch is still better to use on infants and kids if you need it). Should be safe for personal use, as long as the manufacturer made sure there wasn't any or an unsafe level of asbestos from where it was mined (a particular company intentionally ignored that unsafe level which is why it's usually absent from U.S. stores).

Works as well as the baby powder that we grew up using.

Looks like an adequate replacement for J&J talc.
I've been using this a few months now to absorb sweat, etc. I take the top off a J&J baby powder container and refill it with this talc. It appears the same as the J&J talc minus the fragrance. It's seems to be a finer consistency than corn starch. I'll use corn starch to thicken my sauces, not on my body.

The Real Stuff
Nicotine has long been a health hazard, but smokers can still buy cigarettes. "Milk" had long applied to cloudy liquids in general (cf. milkweed; coconut milk), but now the dairy industry protests against using it for anything that doesn't come from udders. And yet those of us who need real talcum powder -- who find that substitutes made of cornstarch simply DO NOT absorb for longer than about half an hour -- find such ersatz products lyingly labeled "talc," and are forced to buy the real stuff packaged with warning labels about "for industrial use only," and likely more expensive than a few years ago when we could get it in shaker bottles from the baby supply shelves. This product is the real stuff, just as fine and long-absorbent as you used to be able to buy openly, and enough to last a long time.

Wonderful Talcum Powder!
This is pure talcum powder that we used to be able to get in dusting powder. The smell is very faint and it's extremely soft like we used to be able to find. I'm thankful for it!
