High quality package, nice serving size, great noodles, good flavor.
Definitely high-quality packaging and product. Long straight noodles. Generous serving size for dinner. Best part of it is the noodles, great texture and chew. They give you 3 individually wrapped packets of noodles, 3 soup base packet of liquid, and 3 powder spice packet. The package warns about the spice level but using the whole packet only takes me to maybe medium wings/hot chicken spice level. I use almost the whole packet. I get more fish-taste than pork. I'm still on the fence on flavor. It's good but I don't imagine craving it. While consistently ranked high by professional chefs, I'd likely try another flavor by the same company.

Review for Ichiran Take-Home Ramen Kit
This is a very good and high-quality product. The noodles are fresh, the broth concentrate is rich and flavorful, and the spicy seasoning packs add a nice customizable kick. It truly brings the authentic Ichiran experience to your home, delivering a taste that’s both fresh and satisfying. However, the kit is undeniably pricey considering its simple contents: just noodles, broth concentrate, and spicy seasoning. For the current price, it feels steep, especially when you consider that a standard Ichiran bowl in Japan—complete with all ingredients and fully prepared—costs around $7, and a larger portion is around $9. If the price of this kit were reduced to about $15 to $20, it would feel more fairly priced and accessible. Ichiran’s quality and brand reputation are top-notch, but it would be even greater if this high quality could reach more customers at a fair price. Every potential customer deserves the experience and quality that Ichiran delivers.

worth the price for premium ramen
One of the best ramen kits you can order. Broth has a ton of flavor. Not a powder mix broth, but actual packets of flavorful broth. Noodles were light not heavy or thick, but they absorb the broth very nicely. Noodles soak up the flavorful broth, and enhances the flavor. Very good ramen kit. I wish it was a bit cheaper, but still worth the price for premium ramen.

Great taste, a bit fishy smell/taste, and pricy
It is really good but not 30$ good. Im glad to have tried it. The broth is rich and savory, the noodles are wonderful. The only thing that out me off besides the price. Is the smell and taste of fish sauce or the bonito flakes. It takes away from the aroma of pork. Again it is good and if you always wanted to try ichiran then ok.

Best take home ramen
It’s worth the price for the quality!!! Omg restaurant quality seriously. Eat is as is or add your toppings and it’s the best ever.

Grown up instant ramen
Quick and easy prep. The noodles and soup are pure, unadulterated comfort food, even if you didn't grow up eating this sort of thing. As opposed to a typical bowl of instant ramen, which I'm sure we've all had plenty of, the feeling after finishing a bowl of Ichiran is different. The noodles are light, and strike a singular balance between firm and chewy. The broth-concentrate soup is very delicious and savory, and the prep honestly couldn't be easier. This soup is delicious. I only have two criticisms (and they're not, really). The red spice powder is undeniably pleasant and a perfect complement to the broth, but I don't know that I'd call it "hot". And the elephant in the room - you'd be forgiven for likening ten dollars per serving (that's three complete servings per box) of instant ramen to the noodle soup version of "millennial burger joint", but keep in mind that this is clearly pretty high quality, and it's also imported, and there's a global trade war going on. Even then, this is really some special stuff, and I believe it's worth the money if you can overlook the initial sticker shock.

Great Ramen
I live in the metro area, and there are actually two Ichiran locations in New York that I’ve been to, both were consistently great. But realistically, I can’t go to the restaurant every time I’m craving ramen, so I decided to try this take-home kit. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. The flavor is very close to what you get in-store: rich, creamy, and deeply satisfying, with that signature tonkotsu depth that’s hard to replicate. It really captures that authentic Ichiran taste, which surprised me for a packaged product. The noodles have a nice texture when cooked properly, firm with just the right chew, and they pair really well with the broth. Everything feels thoughtfully packaged, and it doesn’t come across like a generic instant ramen at all. That said, you absolutely have to follow the instructions carefully, especially when it comes to the broth. The water ratio matters more than you’d think. I learned that the hard way, added too much water the first time and ended up with a very bland, watered-down soup. Once I followed the exact measurements, the flavor came through perfectly. Overall, this is a great option if you want a convenient way to enjoy authentic ramen at home without sacrificing too much quality. Definitely recommended for anyone who loves Ichiran but can’t always make the trip into the city.

Best Ramen Ever
By far the best packaged ramen you can buy. Tastes almost just like the real Ichiran bowls! The price point is definitely high (especially for ramen), but well worth it in my opinion. I think everyone should experience this ramen at least once, if you can't make it to Japan or NYC.
