I have the pickiest dogs on earth and they love this stuff. I have been trying to add a bit more nutrition into their food (I make their food at home). It’s a good quality, there’s not a strong odor, and it’s lasted for quite some time. The cost is fair. They seem to like the flavor as well. Since I have been using it my girl has seemed to have less tummy trouble and that alone makes it worthwhile. Im repurchasing and would definitely recommend pet parents give this a try.

I’ve really been loving the Instinct Freeze-Dried Shakers as a topper for my cat’s dinner. I just sprinkle a little over his food, and he seems to really enjoy the extra flavor. I also like that it’s an easy way to add a little variety to his meals without changing his regular food. I obviously can’t say the topper itself is responsible for my cat’s health, but I feel good knowing it’s part of his routine—and at his vet visit, I was told that he is very healthy, which always makes me feel like I’m doing something right. ❤️ I also love how easy it is to use. You literally just shake a little over his food, so it takes seconds to add to dinner. Instinct specifically makes the cat Shakers as supplemental toppers rather than complete meals, which is exactly how I use it. Overall, this has become one of those little things I like keeping on hand for my cat. He enjoys it, I feel good about adding it to his meals, and it makes his dinner a little more exciting. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an easy meal topper!

Love this for my dogs. They are already crushed and ready to be served. Our dogs love it. Perfect for their toppers or a quick treat as well. Cheaper than pet store

We used to use Instinct Raw Boost Mixers in our dog's food as a topper, but he would start picking them out and not eating the food. So, we started crushing them up, and that seemed to do the trick. So, we were really happy when we found this shaker, which basically is just the mixers in a pulverized-from-the-factory form. Our dog loves these toppers so much that if we put his food down without them, he will sit and look at us waiting for us to get the shaker out just to add a few shakes over the top (which is enough to get him to finish all of his food). They are remarkably effective, and he hasn't got bored of them over a long period of time (at least a year?). We recently dog sat three other dogs of our friends and also found that they loved these toppers. Hesitancy to eat in a strange house was easy to fix with these toppers. The size is of this shaker is very adequate for our 80-pound Golden Mountain Doodle. We only need a few shakes for his food, and it tends to last at least a month if not two. From the shaker itself, it might be hard for someone to notice that chicken is a major ingredient. The color and texture and marketing for gut health makes it easy to mistake them for sweet potato/pumpkin toppers (and the ingredients do include both sweet potato and pumpkin), but this is primarily a freeze-dried chicken product. That's fine with us, but some people have dogs that have apparent chicken sensitivities, and so perhaps this topper won't be for them. So be aware that it is a chicken product despite looking like just another gut-health pumpkin/potato product.

Oh my Goodness! This stuff is great! I have tried for weeks to get my 12 year old Maltese to eat his prescription food for congestive heart failure and pancreatitis. Tried so many semi-healthy additives and cooking his food, etc. He needs to eat his prescription food but hates it. Finally, I found something he really likes! And I only need to sprinkle a little on top. I don't write many reviews but if this can help someone like me, I hope it does!
