It is water based, metallic, and has a very good 'tack' which you can hear when using it and gives confidence that it will give a good print using several methods, including linoprint and also I use it a lot for drypoint intaglio too. This is a generous amount of ink for the price and I like the way it spreads evenly onto the brayer (roller). Being water based, clean up is really simple with some water and a little liquid detergent. I expect to be producing a lot more copper colour prints in the near future.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can it be used to print on shirts ?**
A: Thanks for your question.  As a water-soluble block printing ink, this product is not suitable for printing on fabrics as it is not wash-fast.  Please search for Speedball Fabric Block Printing Inks, made specifically for printing on fabric.

**Q: How many prints will the 5oz tube complete?**
A: The way i use it, upwards of 125/150 or so. But keep in mind that my prints are for the Art-O-Mat organization. AOM prints are about 2 inches by 3 inches. If you hit your calculator you can probably extrapolate that to your needs.

**Q: Is this black ink?**
A: I was sent metallic silver ink. But it is supposed to be black

**Q: I'm wondering about how many 6x9 block prints one tube of this ink would produce? I'm trying to cost out a project I'm working on. Thanks!**
A: I don't know I was printing on paper for a class.  I had a variety of colors and I was doing it on 9 X 12 colored cardstock. A small amount covers a lot.  You need to keep adding more on the roller until it covers your area evenly.

Top notch quality. They are nice and thick too. They wash off brilliantly, and work dries quickly. One of the best brands I've bought from. A bit pricey but it's good value for money considering the cheap brands never dry which can ruin your work. They have a great selection of colours. I wish they had more in stock of some colours so the delivery wouldn't be so long
