Far Better than Expected!
I have been a diehard fan of Keen hiking boots for some 15 years. But with age my feet have drastically spread and I had to somewhat bitterly accept the fact that I needed a wider boot for both daily hiking and work. I ordered these based on the availability of wide widths. The price was more than reasonable so I wasn't expecting much in quality or comfort. I just wanted them to fit. But know what? These are *fantastic* boots and I love them! No, they don't have the glove-like feel of Keen's anatomical footed. But they form around my feet nicely, offering a comfortable amount of wiggle room without feeling at all loose or sloppy. They're extremely comfortable on my hikes and have been right from Day One. They handle my three miles/day hikes over rough & rocky terrain beautifully. They're truly waterproof, keeping my feet bone dry as I walk through streams. I wore them in the snow for the first time today. Was outside shovelling and tending to stuff for at least 4 hours and my feet stayed dry. I was a mite worried about their lack of insulation for winter use but one heavy pair of wool socks and my feet have remained warm in 12° weather. I wear them as my regular work shoes too. So I hike a few miles then wear them the rest of the day at my standing up job. And my feet haven't given me so much as a twinge of grief! No pain, no aches, no tender tootsie at all. I'm a new and ardent Nortiv fan now! UPDATE: As much as I love these boots - which I continue to wear regularly- my bunion.wanted still MORE room. So I bought another pair of Nortiv 8's. The new ones are men's "Wide Toe Box" labeled and they're even more fantastic than these! So.ladies if you need to go wider, check those wide toe box Nortiv's out. I got them in a mens' 8..5, equivalent to a womens' 10. They are true to size on the smaller side so order up a half-size if you're in doubt. My feet haven't been this happy in years of years, and they owe it all to Nortiv 8!

I would recommend this for any hike or trek!
I bought this for my 8-day vacation in the Redwoods and also used it for my trip to the Sequoias. These hiking boots were perfect! Super comfortable, really cute and they really are pretty water-resistant as I had to trek some shallow water trails. They did seem a little chunky but my feet felt protected and unencumbered the whole 8 days! I’m a size 8.5 in my typical everyday shoes but I ordered a size 8 and it was perfect. And it was fairly light weight! This is definitely a good quality hiking boot!

Excellent Hiking Boots for the Price
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These boots are fantastic for the price. I was torn between buying these or spending a lot more on a well-known brand, but I’m glad I chose these instead. I’ve worn them on several winter hikes around Colorado, and they’ve performed great. They kept my feet warm and dry while hiking through snow, ice, and shallow water. I also felt secure walking on icy sections and didn’t experience any slipping. They’re very comfortable right out of the box, provide good ankle support, and are breathable enough that my feet don’t feel overly sweaty. I haven’t had a chance to test them on hot summer hikes yet, but so far they’ve exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a quality hiking boot without spending a fortune, these are definitely worth considering.

Time Will Tell.
So far, so good. (***Update***) It checks the early boxes. - Looks good. - Doesn't feel cheap. - Comfortable. - Water proof. - Good grip. - Strong Laces. I intend to use these for hiking and in emergency/survival situations. So trusting these will be very important. I have a family of 5, so being cost effective when purchasing a new product is huge. The price seemed a little too good to be true, but motivated me to try an unfamiliar brand. I purchased these for my wife and this was the feedback I received so far. The problem is: - You don't want to really challenge somethings full capabilities that you had to spend your own money on (why ruin them before you need to) - I need to get myself a pair (or two) so I can really challenge their capabilities. - The only complaint I had was about the look. It looks good. But when you get in close, you can see how it was put together. Doesn't bother me but its important to note. My rating (so far) is a 3. (Rating Key below) - The most important thing will be DURABILITY. Like I said, I haven't been able to really put them to the test but I hope to very soon. I will update my rating and the star rating when I do. - The price in comparison to very similar looking shoes is excellent. - I am trying some other options to compare price differences. ***I would purchase a product more often from any company with this level of customer service as I know that they will work through problem with me*** Great job Nortiv8!*** ***Update*** CUSTOMER SERVICE - This companies customer service has been excellent so far. I increased my rating by one star due to this. Any company that's willing to reach out and gather feedback about their products and offer assistance deserves a higher rating on that alone! RATING KEY 0-5 0 - Don't Buy. 1 - Good for Free. 2 - Good for the Price. 3 - Worth The Buy. 4 - This Is a Good Product. 5 - Buy It! You're Welcome. Disclaimer - I DID purchase this product. Thanks for reading. I will update if I am able to gather more info! To the seller: Send me some other products to review and compare.

Perfect Blend of Comfort and Style!
I recently purchased these hiking boots, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! Here are my thoughts after taking them on a few trails: - **Lightweight Design**: One of the standout features of these boots is how light they are. I was surprised at how easy they were to wear during long hikes. I felt like I could walk for hours without feeling weighed down. - **Outstanding Comfort**: From the moment I put them on, they felt incredibly comfortable. The cushioning is just right, providing excellent support without sacrificing flexibility. I’ve worn them for several hours at a time, and my feet felt great afterward. - **Toe Guard**: The toe guard is a fantastic addition, giving me peace of mind while navigating rocky trails. It offers both protection and durability, ensuring that my toes are shielded from any bumps or scrapes. - **Cute Aesthetic**: Not only are these boots functional, but they’re also stylish! I love how they look—perfect for both the trails and casual outings. I've received many compliments on them! Overall, I highly recommend these hiking boots to anyone looking for a combination of comfort, protection, and style. They have quickly become my go-to footwear for all my outdoor adventures!

Waterproof and comfortable
Just got them but 1st impression is really good. I took a walk out in the snow to make sure they’re waterproof and they seem to be very good at that. I have a pair that were made by aI took a walk out in the snow to make sure they’re waterproof and they seem to be very good at that. I have a pair that were made by a company starting with a C and ending with an A that cost twice as much as this pair that advertise being waterproof, but they are not. That was my highest priority with these boots. They fit me well- they’re wide enough because I got 11 wide. I have a bunion and I need extra room. I suggest if you have a bunion, make sure you get wide. There’s a lot of support through the ankles. They’re very comfortable to have on they keep my feet warm in my old house and I like them a lot so far. I’ll update you if I come across anything negative but right now they’re well worth the money and if you need a good pair of waterproof boots don’t fall for the expensive ones- get this pair cause they’re waterproof. The whole bottom and toe area and side about 3 inches high is all rubber and the top part is a heavy duty suede-they’re made for snow. They’re half the price of the first pair I bought which I can only wear on bright sunny days or around the house. This is my pair for walking outside in the snow.

Comfortable and dry but not slip-proof
I have been wearing these to break them in for a trip next month and was excited to test them out in a thunderstorm/puddles. I will say they have been comfortable right out of the box, don't need much breaking in, and have kept my feet dry. However, I almost bit it several times walking on slick surfaces. The grips provide zero traction unless the surface you are walking on has texture - slippery rocks are a no go. I am surprised other reviewers found them to have good traction, maybe it's a variable between colors? Either way I am going to look into other options as my trip will be primarily hiking in wet terrain (Iceland). Disappointed as these are such a great price compared to the usual hiking boot brands. Guess you get what you pay for. Short version: Great for regular hiking on rough terrain, but poor traction on slick surfaces.

Great quality for great price and excellent comfort
I am new to colder weather hiking and dealing with rain and snow on the trails. I needed a boot that would keep my feet dry and that also provides arch support. After reading many reviews of many different products, I purchased these. Keeping in mind that I might need to double layer socks, I watched for that type of information in my reviews. I typically wear a size 8. I bought an 8. I have worn these boots for over 25 miles of walking now, both in rain and snow, and have also trekked through mud. My latest adventure I camped in 0-degree weather. I wore nylons, a boot sock, followed by a wool sock with no problem. My feet stayed dry throughout. My only issue was my toes got cold. I was able to put a pack of hot hands in each boot under my toes - even with the three layers of socks - and they worked great. Prior to that, I did a 10-mile hike (left at 8, was done by noon, so 10 miles consistently moving) and I had no arch support or shin issues. My boots are the purple/gray color and suit me well. They feel great on my feet and provide excellent arch support. They are easy to tie, getting them on and off with no issues. Their expandability by loosening the laces made it great for the multi layers on my feet. I trekked up a 50-degree hill covered in snow and had no problems with traction. I am not being paid for this review. I chose to write it after wearing the boots for 3 camps outs and a 10-mile hike. At no time did I get any blisters (but I have learned from past experience what I need to do to protect my feet from blisters). I am greatly impressed and would definitely recommend them to others and purchase them again.

Great boots to beat a Canadian Winter!
These ladies’ winter boots have exceeded my expectations. They are excellent all-terrain hiking boots—warm, fully waterproof, and designed with generous toe room, which makes them comfortable even for longer wear. The laces are long enough to double-knot, so they stay securely tied and don’t come undone while walking. The sole offers strong traction, especially on uneven trail terrain, and feels stable and supportive. Like most boots, they can hydroplane on ice, but that’s not a manufacturing issue—it’s simply part of a Canadian winter. There was no break-in period required; they were comfortable right out of the box and continue to feel even better with each wear. The insole provides good arch support, and there’s enough room to add an orthotic if needed. The boots feel solid and well-built without being heavy or bulky. In terms of comfort and performance, they are comparable to brands like Merrell or Columbia, but at a much more reasonable price point. I was so impressed that I purchased the men’s version for my son, and he absolutely loves his pair as well. Overall, these boots are comfortable, supportive, durable, and great value for the price. We highly recommend this brand and these boots.
