Chicago Comb Model 14 Carbon Fiber, Made in USA, Anti-static, Detangling, Styling & Shower comb, 8.4 inches (21 cm) long

I bought this comb on a whim and it is the best comb I have ever used! I have fine long hair and I have always used combs of this shape but with thicker teeth and wider gaps between the them. This comb has felt really solid with no feel of bending/breaking when I brush my hair and the closer teeth does a much better job for fine hair. I have not had any noticeable static with this comb but I also put some anti static conditioner in my hair so hard to say how well that actually works. If you are used to plastic combs that bend and break over time, I highly suggest giving this a shot as I will never go back to the old plastic combs now.

wow, I had no idea that carbon for combs would make that kind of difference for just combing out my hair. I have really long, fine, straight hair and it is like the ends even are softer and my hair looks so much better using these combs. They detangle so much easier and less hair fallout. I purchased a few and am really happy with all of them. I really don't understand why all combs aren't just only made this way, and that this is not talked about more--- how carbon seals the hair shaft and makes hair look so much better. Any hair type! (And how plastic combs and acetate combs do the opposite--). Seriously life changing! Sounds so funny, but really!

Great quality combs! They aren't totally anti-static but I do feel they reduce static somewhat. They also glide nicely through the hair without pulling. Be sure to check out the length and spacing of the teeth, which will help you decide which model comb will best suit your hair.

I use this as a beard comb and there is nothing else that even comes close to how well it works. The teeth are perfect, it makes zero static, it's light, it's strong, and super easy to clean. I would give it a million stars.

Works well for long beards

To be fair, it met my expectations, but I had pretty high expectations. I have 18 inches of naturally curly hair. It can tangle easily, but this comb very noticeably glides right through 98% of my dry end knots.... the other 2% come out with light work. It smoothes it out by taking the static out... it actually seems to polish it by doing so in fact. I had it in my hand once I got home all of 40ish minutes, that's all it took for me to order this exact comb (model 14) again, so I can have one with me at home or work....I really love it. You will too..... oh and the feel of it in your hand is awesome it's like NASA in a comb, and it's perfect....I mean prefect, not a burr, pit, smudge, nothing... it's beautiful if a comb can be, it feels like a 500 dollar comb you'd pick up in a jewelry shop and say wow that's crazy nice but I'm not paying 500 bucks... but this is under 20 and.... so I bought 2.

I was needing a good high quality comb that would help with all the static I was experiencing with my hair!! This has done the job. Love it, buy it!

Works well and does NOT create any static electricity so NO frizzy hair. However it seems brittle/inflexible and I worry that dropping the comb on a hard surface might break the comb so I have been very careful using it.

The best beard comb money can buy. Chicago combs are expensive for what they are (just a comb), but they last a lifetime, they are of excellent quality and do an amazing job taming your beard (or hair) without snagging. This is my 4th of the collection, and they are all phenomenal as long as you use them as indicated. I have 3 in total, and thy are all phenomenal as long as you use them as indicated and exert some common sense. This particular one is for long beards/hair and does not disappoint.
