Exactly as Described…
It is expensive, but performs exactly as described. Follow the directions as provided—they actually do help with getting the best results from the product. The battery lasts longer than I was expecting. It's a good product.

Very good Antenna.
Very good quality and helps greatly with reception. I would buy it again.

Nothing but noise.....
I restore vintage tube radios from the 30s through the early 60s, many with shortwave requiring external antenna or similar long wire setups. Purchased this to use with some various radios i have restored to use in my home as show pieces that work fine on even a plain wire antenna of minimum length. Just wanted something that I could use to show to folks how the sets worked without an elaborate setup or ugly wire just strung up, not trying for extreme DX etc. Well, it just injects noise...no real reception except what you could expect from 2 feet of copper wire attached. Took it to my shop and tested the loop with various modulated signals at different signal strengths from signal generator and measured the output with my oscilloscope and...zilch....just noise from the circuit.....it literally won't pass any usable RF thru the circuit...just noise all over the spectrum....maybe I got a clunkers but I've seen enough similar reviews that apparently it's a hit or miss product.....

Works well indoors EVEN better outdoors.
Do use the extender to separate the base and the loop. There is a lot of interference when directly connected. Get good noise free signals. Signal obviously is best with the loop outdoors. Update, have yet to test on MW did so today... and the interference from the battery supply overloads the signal. Trying the stock whip or a donut antenna is best. Took a star off because it works for all other applications.

Looks like $ well spent
Received it pronto..I really have to chuckle about how the item is packaged over in China..Really some cleaver design of the box so it doesn't get bent or broken en route. Appears I spent my $ well.. As far as the vendor goes, two thumbs up

Nice piece of kit for shortwave listening
greatly improves the SW listening on my Raddy RF-919, Tecsun PL-880, and Qodosen DX-286. Rechargeable battery lasts 8-10 hours, although I recharge before each use anyway. It is nice that you can separate the loop from body, to hang the loop up on a windows for better reception. The package also come with several different dongles to attach to radios and SDRS.

This is not the antenna you are looking for
I bought this antenna hoping to pick up more shortwave stations. I have the smaller one GA-450 which has a knob to control the amp signal boost. This one supposedly does this automatically, and reduces noise. Unfortunately, I picks up more hash (bad) noise (it is due to the bias tee circuitry inside the black base), and it has more bad noise than the GA-450. I have tried separating the loop from the base, which works a little better, but not as good as the GA-450. The automatic circuitry never really works as it should, and I get less than stellar reception. That being said, is this better than the antenna that comes with shortwave radios? Yes, but for this much money, it should be a lot better. Unfortunately, it is marginally better, and not worth the price. I have seen online how some people have taken apart the base, used better circuitry or improved upon what is inside (specifically the battery and charging circuit) and this becomes an amazing antenna. Maybe in my spare time, I will try that. I prefer the GA-450 over this for most applications, but in a fixed application, use the MLA-30+ loop antenna. It is amazing for $30, and the cost of building a mast (I used PVC pipes). This one is a pass and potentially a project for me when I have some free time. Save yourself money and get the MLA-30+ loop or the GA-450. Hope this helps.

It Works!
Manually rotating the loop really helps reduce (& caneven eliminate) distortions (such as static) on AM (MW) & SW bands. I love that it has a built-in, rechargeable battery.

A failure
This unit may have a manufacturing flaw. The reception is extremely poor.

Although well constructed, it didn’t seem to make much difference to my reception
Really nice compact little Antenna and it came with everything you might need to install it close to or far away from the receiver, but I didn’t find it improved the reception that much so I returned it.

not great
