What I like most about this precision rain gauge, the stand is designed to be solid and the material seems durable, so it should be fine for outdoor weathering. After using it, it is indeed amazingly accurate. After each rainfall, the recorded data is quite stable, with minimal error when compared to the data from the weather station.

This is a great rain gauge. We had one previously that lasted 12 years. It is easily seen from inside our house while it is mounted on our deck. Great product.

Works very well and accurate. The top collector seems to just sit on top. Just hope it doesn't blow off in a wind. May need to tape it down.

Great gauge but the inner tube cracked and I can’t find a replacement. Also it does seem to be a little tight fitting into the grooves

This is a very sturdy and accurate rain gauge. I purchased it because of the gradients down to .01 of an inch. I live in Colorado and since we don't get much rain, it's nice to be able to measure it accurately.

A good product. After about eight years, the Southwest sun eats at them. This is my third one in twenty-five years. Easy to use and read.

Really like this rain gauge. Easy to read. Found our that my electronic weather station overestimates the amount of rain we get.
