Fixed a bathroom porcelean sink with 3 very long cracks
Ankita Tub & Sink (epoxy) repair kit really works, I had a porcelean sink crack with three very long cracks which ranged in 10 to 12 inches long. I figured the sink was done for. However I was willing to try this product since I really didn't want to have a remodeler come into the house during artic temperatures of single digits and have to replace a sink that was mounted below a large granite countertop - it's a massively complex job due to the way it was installed many years ago. The Ankita Tub & Sink epoxy fixed the cracks perfectly sealing them and the white matched up perfectly with the color of the sink. I am extremely happy with the results, and highly recommend this product. It was a straight forward job and not hard if you follow the instructions. For best results I recommend that you also do the following: 1) The white tape that came with product is good and works, however it was almost the same color as the sink so I substituted blue painter's tape instead and it was much easier to do the job because it offered a contrast between the white sink I was repairing. I noticed that the picture of the Ankita Tub & Sink epoxy kit shows blue tape, but mine came with white tape. 2) Search for the product on YouTube and watch a few of the videos of users doing sink and tub repairs. It makes it so much easier to do the job because you'll know the techniques so you get the best results. 3) DO NOT RUSH THE REPAIR JOB, this is a take your time and do it right type of job, give yourself a whole afternoon. 4) Take your time sanding, use the tougher grit sanding paper in the Ankita kit first and and then the smoother grit last. You want to treat the sanding as if you sanding an art project, the more carefully you sand it the better it will turn out. 5) If your cracks go all the way through the sink (like all my three cracks did), make sure to seal the bottom of the sink too. I would have sealed the bottom with the Ankita Tub & Sink epoxy but nobody sees the bottom of the sink so I decided to use J-B Weld (black colored) Epoxy (Professional cold weld #8281) since it's industrial strength epoxy. The way you can tell if the cracks go all the way through the sink is that water leaks from the bottom of the sink where the cracks are located. When I sealed the top with the sink with teh Ankita Tub & Sink kit, no water dripped or poured from the bottom of the sink so I know if worked. However the cracks on the bottom of the sink were still there and I was afraid if in the future during cold or warm weather the cracks below may expand or cause future weakness. The J-B weld sealed the cracks perfectly in the bottom of the sink. In closing the Ankita repair kit saved me a lot of money and aggravation. It's an inexpensive tub and sink repair kit that really works!

Easy to uses
I was a little skeptical ordering this based on a few reviews but Iโm extremely pleased with this product. When mixed well, it does in-fact dry white. After 24 hours it sanded nicely and appears to have solved my problem and believe it will be durable. Much cheaper than a bathroom remodel or hiring a contractor.

It will do the job
These type of kits are really overpriced. But I was a desperate to help a friend cover up a rusty spot in their tub that had been covered up prior to my friend moving in. I followed all of the directions and Iโm a perfectionist thatโs why my friend asked me to do it. Despite being a perfectionist I wasnโt able to get it perfect following the directions. It definitely covered in the spot, but it wasnโt perfect to my standards. I recommend when you tape around the spot that you go in as close as possible to the area that youโre trying to cover. I donโt think you should make a square. I think you should follow it around the actual shape that youโre covering as close as you can as this will minimize all of the extra sanding afterwards.

Close Enough Match - Easy DIY Tub Fix
My wife used this kit to repair a scratch in our bathtub, and it worked well for our needs. Color Match: The white isnโt a perfect match to our tub, but itโs close enough that you wouldnโt notice unless you were really looking for it. For a DIY repair, it blends in well. Ease of Use: Easy to use - my wife had no trouble applying it. The instructions were straightforward, and the process didnโt require special skills or tools. Results: Looks good! The scratch is no longer noticeable, and the repair has held up well. Much better than living with a visible scratch or paying for professional repair. Value: For the price, this is an excellent alternative to costly professional tub repair or replacement. Pros: โ Easy to use โ Color close enough to standard white โ Works on multiple surfaces (enamel, fiberglass, acrylic, porcelain) โ Repairs chips, cracks, scratches, rust, holes โ Final result looks good โ Much cheaper than professional repair โ Holds up well Bottom Line: For DIY bathtub repair, this kit does the job. The color match is close enough, itโs easy to apply, and the results look good. Recommended for anyone wanting to fix tub scratches or chips without professional help.

Holding up great weeks later
Easy & lasts! We had a chip in our shower & I wasn't sure how well this would hold up. But it was easy to do and it's been several weeks now & there's not any funky soapscum buildup on the patch or lines or anything. You can't even see the spot. I'm very happy with how this patching works.

Doesn't dry white
Works pretty good, but is definitely not white once it dries.

Worked Well
It worked well. All the product you needed was in the kit. I was surprised at how much product was in the tubes. Usually these kits are pretty skimpy with enough to fill a small chip or two. This one was much larger, so consider that if you have a large crack or two. Dried very white so it will match new white tubs or sinks.

If you think this is gonna fix cracks, think again.
This does not bond like it is advertised to even after being properly mixed, applied, and dried for the time it is labeled for. I applied this to some cracks that I had and within DAYS all it did was peel right back off of the cracks and caused even more damage to the cracks. I do not recommend this product as all. It is not effective, has caused even more leaks, and the "spatula" that they include gets covered in the epoxy so quickly and fully that you can't use it for the "RECOMMENDED MULTIPLE COATS" the it asks for on the pack of the label. Just AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

seal the crack, but not flexible enough
it will nicely fix crack. just make sure the crack you are trying to fix has a solid ground and not moving. the compound is hard and does not like moving base under.
