After our kids broke the remote (they're 5 and impatient) I scoured Amazon to find the exact replica. Ta-da here it is & it came overnight. Thanks Amazon for letting us continue our screen time!

I was looking for a Samsung like remote that could control the Cable box channels as well as all the Samsung smart TV functions. This remote is able to do that by using it's learning functionality. I programmed the channel up/down buttons, the number buttons, the STB (set top box) power button to match the functionality of my dedicated cable remote. So now I can control my Samsung smart TV and cable box all from one remote. The only negative so far is that the remote doesn't feel as solid as the original Samsung remote. It seems much lighter. The instructions that came with this remote are fairly brief, one side of one page. I think they could be more informative but I was able to figure out what I wanted to do. I tend to be technology oriented. I'm not sure that everyone will realize that they could control their cable box by using the learning functionality. While the instructions tell you how to use the learning functionality, They don't specifically mention anything about learning the cable box remote functionality. Some people might not realize that. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.

Got this remote to try for my tv, even though it was not listed as on of the Tv's it would work for, bc the one for my tv was the one with the fancy keyboard on the back and cost from $50.00-$60.00 here on Amazon. I got it and everything on the remote worked except the smarthub button, which was the main reason we needed it. Luckily I followed the directions with the remote and the third code I tried made the smart hub button work. There will be a party at my house tonight bc we have access to all our apps on our tv again!

Worked identically to the older remote that it replaced, despite having more buttons and apparently more capability. No reconfiguration needed.

Bought this in the hope it could be a second remote for my Samsung Series 6 UHD flat screen with Smarthub. The series has a small, unique Bluetooth remote so a lot of universals won't respond.This one will, although at times I have to reset the 3 number code to a Samsung tv device. The controls are a bit limited, don't expect them all to work or be the button you expect. But I'm thankful it works at all.
