What a great product to improve your Walkabout and Golf+ game experience.
*Game Changer* I was going back and forth with this unit or the longer version. I could not see paying $100 for the longer unit so I opted for the mini. I can not be more happy with the choice. Maybe get the longer one in the future, but this unit is going to work very well. Unit was extremely easy to put together. I love that it comes with a weight for more realistic club feel. Immediately I noticed a difference. I first played Walkabout mini golf. Was easy to calibrate the club and the game play was amazing. The club is short so grabbing the controller for movement was really easy. I will love this game so much more with an actual club handle. I make 2 hole in ones on my first round. Then it was off to Golf +. Again, it was extremely easy to calibrate the handle. What a huge difference in my game. So much more realistic play and better control of my swing. I can see that this will actually improve my actual golf game and it is so much cheaper than going to the driving range. Get this!!! You wont be disappointed.

Great attachment, worth every penny over using just a controller
I only play Golf+. I originally ordered the DeadEyeVR Apex, from the manufacturer direct (Amazon doesn't stock it, yet), which is 30.5" long and has a ton of weight adjustability, and even though it clears my living room ceiling with a few inches to spare, when I put the Quest 3 on I could quickly tell I was pulling my backswing from fear of hitting stuff! So I bought the 17". I love that for the current price it includes two additional weights and what I think is the same grip! No, it doesn't replicate the "WHOOSH!" of the longer attachments and the feel is less realistic too, but compared to just playing with a controller, ANY two handed grip is going to be a vastly superior experience! I'm very happy with my purchase so far and everything seems to be very quality, even the "3D printed" controller cup, which looks very much like molded carbon fiber and it FEELS really solid too. Only time will tell! I'm keeping my Apex for taking to friends houses, with vaulted ceilings, and already strongly considering remodeling my sunken spare room (10-12' ceilings) to become a dedicated "game" (GOLF) room. ;)

Great product with a couple of flaws
Bought the Q3/Pro version because it’s a little shorter than the others and I was worried about accidentally swinging into my pets.. I’m very happy with the purchase! When I’m playing golf+ vr it definitely brought a new level of immersion with feeling like I’m actually swinging a real club. The only issues I had were the instructions and controller hold. The box I received came with a card with a QR code for instructions. This brought me to a website with a range of products from the company rather than direct instructions for this model. I had to look up a YouTube video for instruction (no big deal). After a few swings my controller came out of the holder. Luckily it just got loose and dropped and didn’t hit my tv or window. This was more user error on my part after realizing I might of not secured it properly. The plastic 3D print is concerning and I’m worried about longevity. But after adjusting the controller I got about 200 swings in and so far so good! Great product!

Swing feels very natural, great for Golf+ on VR
as an avid golfer I decided to pick up a club handle for Golf+. A golf grip just doesn't feel right on the Quest Controllers and I was getting weird swing results. Connecting the controller to the DeadEye is extremely easy. it fits really snug and I had no worries that it would come flying out and destroy something in the process. It has a decent grip on it and feels good, but I may regrip with something I use on my own clubs. The swing weight feels great with the controller mounted and I feel that you take a fairly natural golf swing with the device. I took a few practice swings in the golf+ range to see if I needed to change any settings after attaching. Golf+ has options to choose your swing device in the settings menu, the DeadEye is the first option just an FYI. The only clunky part which really isn't the devices issue, is having to switch back and forth between holding the club grip to swing and holding the attached controller to navigate the game menus. I had to reset the club length after attaching the swing stick, being a taller guy I had maxed out the in game club length. Now, I started out by testing the attachment by taking bunker shots, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! hitting out of the sand was insanely inconsistent before using the Deadeye adapter. I was able to manipulate the shots better by opening and closing the face and I didn't feel like I was "flicking" my wrists like I did with the controller alone. after feeling confident about the bunker shots I moved on to driving, most shots were straight as an arrow and when they weren't, I knew my swing was at fault. lastly putting, I didn't spend too much time putting yet, but it does give you a more natural pendulum feel and I can feel that after some adjustments it will be more intuitive. all in all this is a great product, if anything changes Ill be back to update my review, but I am hard pressed to believe that will happen.

Very happy with it
Fantastic feel with the raised backbone on the grip so you don’t have to look at it. Makes vr golf feel realistic

Great Concept, Unusable Execution, Poor Quality Control and Service.
The Verdict: Built by Non-Golfers The concept is great and the build feels solid, but the execution is a total miss. It is glaringly obvious that not a single person who understands golf or club mechanics was involved in this design. Even the presenter in their promo videos clearly doesn't know how to swing a club, which explains a lot. The Engineering Flaws: Terrible Specs Non-Existent Swing Weight: Even with all weights installed, it is far too light to register on a standard swing weight scale. It completely ruins your real-world tempo and feel. Mishandled Shaft Profile: They seemingly used a standard steel shaft but cut it down from the butt end instead of the tip. Taking 6 to 8 inches off the butt end means the grip area is drastically stepped down and way too thin. To fix this, they need a proprietary shorter shaft with a true .580 or .600 butt diameter. Poor Business Practice In the video for their newer model, the company openly admits they had to change the layout because this specific bottom-mount design doesn't track well. Selling an outdated, admittedly flawed product that can't handle a real golf swing is just terrible business. Save your money and stay away. UPDATE: Tested & The Tracking is Awful I decided to actually try it out before shipping it back, and the tracking is a disaster. Unless I swing at 50% speed, it completely loses the clubface, leaving it wide open no matter how much I try to shut it. The issue is made even worse by the extremely low swing weight; because the stick is so light, your swing speed naturally increases, which causes the VR sensors to fail and track even less accurately. Update 2: I purchased the newer model and there were no weights included at all... Return again... This is ridiculous.

I’m happy with the deadeye. It feels very high quality and premium
Pro: Works well Native support in Golf+ Not made of Chineseium (unlike other amazon clubs I’ve tried ) Adjustable weights and carbon fiber finish High build quality Cons: Pressing the buttons on the club is hard to get used to at first More expensive than other clubs I did a lot of research before buying a deadeye. Other clubs were cheaper and I did buy a yezro first but it felt like swinging a pipe not golfing. I returned it and bought this instead. It’s an absolute game changer. The weight of the club feels great and very similar to a golf club. I like having the option of changing the club weights though I honestly don’t use them because I like the club feeling as lightweight as possible. Setup in game is really simple. You just select the deadeye preset in game. The 3d printed cup feels high quality. I was at first concerned about hitting it on things but after a few swings I realized it’d be pretty hard to hit the 3d printed cup with where it’s located on the shaft. The controller grip is really nice and they have their logo all over it. And all over the thumbscrews. They really like their logo lol. In summation this is a really good club and I don’t see myself buying another one any time soon.

Really really good VR Golf Plus accessory
This really makes you feel like your really holding a golf club, while playing on VR golf coarse, not to mention greatly improves your hitting ability compared to just holding a VR hand controler.

best VR golf accessory on the market
the best VR golf accessory out there at the moment, I've had 8-9 of the others and for usability quality and performance its way out in front. Only negative is, don't accidentally hit anything, as with most others, the hard plastic end can break on impact if not careful.

Totally brilliant
Just like using a real club, don’t play golf anymore, but using this aid it’s the next best thing. Adjusting the weight of the club to suit your swing is awesome. Totally recommend.

It does make a difference
Solid, feels natural, setting up is just a matter of getting the length right. It's pricey for what it is but that's pretty much standard for VR. You do feel the quality of it. Once you use it in walkabout or golf+ you really don't understand how you played without it. Caveat: I have never played real golf before so can't speak to that consistency.
