Super fast and great value 2TB NVMe upgrade
I bought the Acer Predator GM7 2TB SSD as an upgrade for my system, and I’m really impressed with it so far. Installation was very straightforward – slot it into the M.2 port, tighten one screw, and it was recognised immediately. No issues with formatting or setting it up as a boot drive. Performance-wise, it’s excellent. Windows boots in seconds, games and large applications load noticeably faster, and file transfers are very quick. Everything feels much more responsive compared to my older SATA SSD. For a PCIe Gen4 drive, the speeds are more than enough for gaming, general productivity and some light content creation. Temperatures have been perfectly reasonable as well, even without a fancy aftermarket heatsink – just using the standard motherboard heatsink has kept it under control during heavy use. The drive is completely silent and has been rock solid with no crashes or strange behaviour. Overall, this is a great choice if you want a big, fast NVMe drive without paying silly money for “flagship” branding. 2TB gives plenty of space for the OS, software and a good library of games. I’m very happy with this upgrade and would definitely recommend the Predator GM7 to anyone looking to boost their laptop or desktop storage and speed.

Fast, efficient and great value for a Gen4 SSD
Picked this up as an upgrade for my PC and it’s been really impressive for the price. It’s a PCIe Gen4 drive so speeds are properly quick, loads games fast and makes the whole system feel snappier. It’s rated up to around 7200 MB/s read which is right up there with high-end drives, and in real use it definitely feels fast. What stood out most is how efficient it is. It runs cool compared to some other Gen4 SSDs, which is ideal if you’re using it in a laptop or a PS5 where heat can be an issue. Reviews also mention it being one of the more power-efficient drives in its class, which is a big plus. Installation is straightforward as well, standard M.2 2280 size so it fits pretty much any modern motherboard. Works great as a boot drive or for games, and handles larger files without slowing down too much thanks to its caching setup. It is a DRAM-less design, which some people might worry about, but honestly for normal use like gaming, general use and even light editing, it performs really well. It uses HMB and caching to make up for it, and most people wouldn’t notice a difference day to day. If I had to be picky, it’s not the absolute fastest SSD on the market and heavy sustained workloads might show its limits compared to more expensive drives. But for the price, it hits a really good balance between performance and cost. Overall, a really solid Gen4 SSD. Fast, reliable and good value, especially if you want near top-tier speeds without paying premium prices. Would definitely recommend.

Superb nVME drive, perfect size for modern gaming.
Speed, stamina, and serious gaming cred—Acer’s Predator NVMe drive delivers top-tier performance in a sleek, no-nonsense package. With a generous 2TB of capacity, it's a perfect fit for power users and gamers juggling massive game libraries, media projects, or multitasking madness. The standout here is speed: Gen5 is SUPER fast, blazing fast read and write rates mean snappy load times, smooth data transfers, and zero bottlenecks. Whether you’re booting up your rig or launching AAA titles, it keeps pace effortlessly. Built with durability and heat management in mind, this drive stays cool even during marathon sessions. It’s also plug-and-play friendly for easy upgrades, with design touches that complement any high-performance setup. If you’re after a storage boost that won’t flinch under pressure, the Predator NVMe is a beast in both name and nature. Ready to feed your PC’s hunger for speed and space without missing a beat. The price to performance is chef's kiss with this one.

Ultrafast m.2. Transformed my pc. Awesome hardware. Acer 💪😎
Just an absolute beast of a drive. Games play flawlessly, especially demanding ones cyberpunk 2077 even on ludicrous settings this handles it with ease, same with cod anything that requires an ultra smooth fast transition. This is the drive to buy. I'd just purchased the 5070ti and coupled with maximus xi formula motherboard and other high end parts it has literally transformed my pc. Absolutely love it. Games feel faster cod now is just so different no blocks when loading in everything is instant. The graphics now aren't throttled by my older m.2 drive was only 500gb so I've pit that into pcie slot with an adapter. Works a treat to. But this really is a monster of a drive. Worth every penny, infact I'd pay more lol. Absolutely made up with this purchase. Ultra fast.

A great NVME but note
This NVME is a great choice in terms of performance, durability, ease of installation etc. It boasts high speeds so is perfect for hardcore gamers and content creators alike. My only complaint is the drive is technically 3.8TB due to pre allocated software space. Which to me is disappointing as 200GB is alot of storage to not have access to. So I believe predator needs to do something about that. I obviously expected there to be some storage lost, but not 200GB. Other than that, it's a great option and is definitely one of the more affordable options on amazon.

Stunning performance!
I bought this to upgrade the 512GB SSD in my ASUS Zenbook laptop. The difference was stunning. Not only did this Predator SSD quadruple my laptop's storage capacity, but disk transfer rates have doubled. Excellent! Oddly, while my Zenbook supports PCLe Gen 4 NVMe SSD devices, the 512GB SSD actually installed was only PCLe Gen 3. To make a clone, I used the free Ancronis True Image package available with this SSD. It's really easy to use - though you do need a compatible SSD caddy so you can copy the old disk to the new device. This took just ~15 minutes. I studied a couple of YouTube videos for the physical Installation. It's a relatively painless operation assuming you have some mini screwdrivers (Torx in my case) and a small plastic pry-tool. I would strongly recommend using an antistatic mat and wriststrap to protect everything. Also, once the case is open, ensure you disconnect the laptop battery before touching anything. Once complete, I reset the BIOS to ensure the new SSD was recognised and was set as the prime boot device. Then, everything burst into life! I note that the SSD runs at relatively low temperatures. It normally sits at about 44 degC and, even under a high workload, I have not seen it exceed 48 degC. That's very good and probably a testament to the twin fans in this laptop. So, no issues and I am a happy boy 😊 Alas, my daughter now wants me to do a similar upgrade to her Lenovo laptop! If you want to upgrade the capacity and speed of your laptop, seriously consider this ACER Predator SSD (having checked the compatibility). Despite being competitively priced, its performance can make it a game changer. BTW, this SSD is actually manufactured by BIWIN who have a reputation for reliable devices with relatively low power requirements (and reasonably low heat generation)....

Large enough for me to edit several 4K videos at the same time
I use my PC for video editing. I use Davinci Resolve Studio. I have a high spec 1TB NVMe for the operating system and software. This 2TB Acer Predator NVMe is what I use to store my video, audio etc. files from my cameras and microphones. It works well and I edit 4K without proxies etc. As a storage device, this is fast enough for me, good enough for me and I would certainly buy again! 2TB is large enough that I can edit several videos at the same time and is enough to store many days worth of 4K footage from multiple cameras.

Acer licencing confusion, but turned out to be a good quality SSD
Predator GM7 2TB SSD – Fast, Frictionless, and (Mostly) Fabulous This SSD delivers on its performance promises with impressive speed and seamless installation. It slotted into my system like it belonged there from day one—no hiccups, no head-scratching, just plug, clone, boot, and bask in Gen4 glory. But let’s address the elephant wearing a mystery hat: Acer branding? Nowhere to be seen. The product listing says “Acer Predator,” yet the box, drive, and packaging make no mention of Acer at all. It’s like buying a Ferrari and getting a turbocharged mystery coupe with no badge. Still a great ride—but confusing at best. Performance-wise? Rock solid. Speeds are rapid, reliability seems top-notch, and for a DRAM-less drive, it punches well above expectations. The only real miss? No included thermal pad. For a gaming-focused drive boasting intelligent heat management, a basic dispersal pad would’ve been a nice touch—especially since I had to source one myself. All that said, this drive is a quiet powerhouse in plain clothes. If you're after blazing-fast storage and aren’t fussed about flashy logos or bundled extras, it’s a seriously good upgrade.
