Ekster responded immediately, I sent a video and the representative sent me a brand new unit. Not just a new unit but upgraded me to the pro model, which I didn't know existed unit I went to the Ekster store and realized the pro has a metal switch instead of plastic, which would be my only complaint about the standard but still performs perfectly. Not many companies stand behind the products they put out but also value and support their costumer base the way Ekster does. Yes you're paying a premium but what you get is a lifetime warranty and rest assured if anything happens to your product they will make things right, no excuses, no BS or splitting hairs they will take care of you. Don't go with the clones, the cheap price might be tempting but with a lifetime warranty you buy one and your good if anything happens. Superb quality and even better company.
