Walk-Hero makes the only inserts I can wear comfortably, so I knew I had to try their walking shoes. I am a woman with very large and problematic feet, and need to wear men's shoes. I wasn't sure if I should get the wide fit, since it is just my toes that need the space, so I was happy to see that they described the wide fit as "medium width in the heel with a roomier toe box". Perfect for me - and I'm glad they made that statement. When the shoes arrived and I put them on my first thought was that it was a snug fit. But then I realized it was snug in a good way - no pressure, no pain, just comfortably cradling. I took my time to get used to walking in them, and now they feel like the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever worn! The arch support is great - my left foot has a pretty much collapsed arch, so I need the support but it can't be too extreme. The cushioning feels comfy and responsive. It's also nice that these are attractive, and that the shoe box, while roomy and comfortable, doesn't look huge. That's important for a woman with big feet! I had been wearing a well-known brand walking shoe, but was tired of them only lasting a few months. So far, these are more durable and far more comfortable - and they are significantly less expensive. I do expect to have to replace the inserts - I order their inserts for all my shoes so that's no problem. Please don't ever discontinue them, now that I've found the perfect walking shoes! I'll order another pair now just in case.

As someone who is on their feet all day, these shoes provided the comfort I needed. It is great that they arrive with supportive insoles. It is easy to replace the insoles and preserve the shoe. The wide toe box is nice and the price is great.

Very comfortable shoe. I run through shoes because i walk a lot for work and the traction and cushioning supports me well. It’s been about 5-6 months and im starting to ware the bottoms (where the insole lies) and can feel the shoe breaking down. But for the price it holds it own.

I was skeptical with all these positive reviews but I play pickleball 2-3 hours each morning and then I work in a Box Store from 2:30pm-11pm. Typically the combination of both activies, that can easily accumulate 30,000 steps but without the pickleball it is usually at least 20K in steps. I should also mention that even tho I am in good shape AND a senior citizen, I was starting to suffer from a sore-ish ankle and heel in my left foot. Now that I have worn these shoes for every shift this past week, I can report that these shoes are comfortable AND diminishing my feet issues. Lastly, this gray/black colorway, keeps my shoes looking fairly clean. I added some custom laces for fun.

I had heart surgery and suffer from neuropathy. I walk 4 miles, five days a week. The walking is great, but the neuropathy is killing my feet. These shoes are the only thing that I have found that keep me going…and they cost less than shoes that I was buying that didn’t help at all. I now own two pair and I am very satisfied.

I purchased the walk hero insoles and loved them so much I decided to buy the shoes. However, I found that while the shoes fit well and appeared well made, the placement of the arch support was too far forward and caused me more pain than relief.

I was looking for a shoe that had the same feel as my Teeva sandals with respect to the sole support and improve my posture. These shoes achieve the goal and are very comfortable and light. Now I'll wait to see how durable they are.

It's a surprisingly well made shoe. A good aesthetic compared with the big brands. True to size and fit right out of the box. There is a break in period involved as the shoes are a bit stiff though not uncomfortable. After four days of wearing them the shoe has begun to conform to the shape of my feet and are much more suple. The toe box is roomy and I have not experienced any slipping at the heel or foot instability. The insole provides just enough arch support and the soles seem to be made of a good quality material. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and at the price point it's a good value. I am giving it 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ until I've worn them a couple of months to better gauge durability. I'll update this review at that time.

The shoe is comfortable. However, the sole is dirty, doesn’t look new. It seems like it has been worn by somebody before. Therefore, a discount on the price is needed.
