Worth the Money
Tried these for a non-door project. They worked better than expected. Used them for hidden hinges for the top of a box. A little tricky to install because they are hidden. No fault of product. These easily held the top up when open and allowed a slow close without slamming and pinching fingers.

should really be 3.5 stars
These hinges are rather strong but have a few flaws. They lack any fine tune adjustments. They are just a little bit sloppy, they wibble wobble a little bit side to side. and finally they dont all pull the doors closed (soft close) all the way. Some do and some dont. In my application its not a big deal so i will live with them. Also the screws supplied are totally the wrong type. Strange thing, ive got a few doors that are kind of large. So i put 4 hinges on each. Well, as it turns out the play that is inherent in these hinges makes it so that the doors dont swing shut at all well with 4 hinges. I removed 2 hinges and now the door does much better with only 2. The hinges are plenty strong and they dont like to share the duty with multiple others.

Installation Observations and Tips
These Chibery 90° Soft-Close Hinges work well once you get them installed correctly, but that’s the tricky part. You absolutely need to install them perfectly level, or they will fight against each other, causing binding and preventing the door from closing all the way. A torpedo level will be your best friend here. They’re a little stiff at first, so don’t expect them to close smoothly right away. Also, these hinges have no adjustment features, so you have to get the placement right (or be prepared to reinstall a few times like I did the first time). When they arrive, they’re in the open position, and it takes a bit of time after installation for them to “settle” and start closing the doors completely. A problem I encountered is the maker included the wrong style of screws. They put tapered, counter-sink screws with don't work well with the straight sided holes in the metal. What this does is, unless the screws are perfectly centered, the tapered screw heads will push against the straight sided hole which causes the hinge to shift position. This constantly moves the hinge slightly out of level which makes installation even more difficult. Chibery should either chamfer the holes or send pan-head screws. Overall, for the price, they’re solid hinges with a nice soft-close feature. Just be ready to spend a little extra time on careful installation. I can recommend them, but only if you’re willing to be patient and precise during installation.

Looks good but didn’t work on my cabinets

It works for what I need
Soft close mechanism works really well! It is a bit hard to open though. Might soften when used. It is my only option since I needed hidden hinges without predrilling large holes on one-of-a-kind midcentury modern cabinet doors.

Don't Buy These
These hinges have too much mechanical play in them. After installing them the first time with clamps holding the doors in place and installed per the instructions, they sagged an eighth of an inch when the clamps were removed. I had to unscrew the base of the hinges and slide them up to anticipate the sag. It worked. They don't really self-close without some help which defeats the self-closing feature. There are no vertical adjusting holes which aggravated the process. They have horizontal holes, but if you follow the instructions, you really don't need them much. The screws are really cheap also. The heads either stripped out or broke off. And yes, I was using the correct size screwdriver. I was given enough screws to install ten hinges. With the breakage, I cannot install the two remaining hinges. It does not really matter though as I threw them away.
