It really burns. I haven't gone above a 5 lb dumbbell at 6 reps but within the first three it's killing me. I was aware of this exercise but didn't try it until I saw this. The materials are really good. The nylon material used seems to be the same type for heavy duty tie downs. I've been using a dumbbell with it which sometimes moves around but it's probably better suited for a kettlebell or weight plate. The grip is comfortable. It comes with an instruction manual with some exercises (the one I've been using is called "simple" in the manual.)
