With an in-line mixed flow design, the duct fan can maintain airflow even in applications with high static pressure. The motor box can be removed from the mounted frame for easy cleaning and maintenance. The complete kit includes an in-line fan unit, speed controller, UIS to 4-pin molex dongle, installation instructions and mounting hardware. This product is part of the UIS platform of grow devices and smart controllers designed to integrate with each other to achieve your ideal environment. Precise speed controller. With the speed controller, you can adjust the speed to optimal noise and airflow levels. This fan is equipped with the CLOUDLINE series EC motor with PWM (pulse width modulation) to run smoothly without producing engine noise. Ten speed options are available with power switch and backup memory. This model can be connected to the following smart controllers: B series temperature controllers, T series temperature and humidity controllers, CONTROLLER 69 and CONTROLLER 67. Quiet and energy efficient design. The in-line fan features a mixed flow design with a stator blade and dual hydrodynamic wind circle to deliver airflow even in applications where air movement is restricted. The motor has two ball bearings with a rated output of 67,000 hours, which allows the duct fan to be mounted in any direction. Review: I purchased this blower for use with an 8” independent insulated duct system that I installed in my attic to redistribute excess heat from the room my new wood burning stove is located in, to the rest of the house. The blower is very quiet even at full speed can move large a large volume of air. The variable speed control is nice although I do believe it would have been nice that the corded speed control’s form factor matched a US a rectangular switch plate/electrical outlet face plate dimension with and/or a faceplate mounting kit for a clean, permanent installation as the faceplate of the control is just a bit too big. Very happy with the unit so far

Initial thoughts, I give this 5 stars, but, the speed controller has these 10 small obnoxiously bright LED lights, so I'm whacking one star. They're the white/blue type. Wow, they're like miniature lasers piercing your eyes. They should have gone with red, not the white/blue. The fan is made of plastic, but it's durable. Blades are sturdy. No flimsy materials used. The fan is pretty quiet. Speeds 6+ are pretty noisy, but then again, when you're shoving 730 cubic feet of air into an 8" tube, it's going to make some noise. I find that acceptable. Lots of air flow, which is what we wanted. Once we start using this more, I may be back to update if needed.
