I had a great experience with this self tanner so I will share exactly what I did. Granted everyone’s skin is different but this is what worked for me. I ordered the 8 hour mousse in the dark color. I used a Tree Hut sugar scrub with a mitt in the shower to exfoliate everywhere. I also shaved. I did this in the morning so I could apply the tanner that evening. Body wash is Tree Hut as well. This does not come with a mitt so I purchased a generic one off Amazon. I started by putting a tiny bit of light lotion on my toes and my fingernails. I did NOT apply lotion anywhere else beforehand. Not even after the shower. I shook the bottle very well and put the foam on the mitt, then buffed it into my body in circular motions. It dries VERY fast so you do need to work quickly. This is why I never apply in long lines because that’s how I get streaks. I used residual solution from the mitt to swipe my feet and hands. I also used a brush to dab the tanner into the mitt then lightly brush across my face. Then I put on dark loose fit clothing and went to bed. I applied at 8:30pm. I woke up and showered at 6:30am. For a color test, I applied a pimple patch on my arm prior to starting, then removed it before showering. Yes a lot of the color guide washes off. But I was left with a very natural looking tan color. I attached 3 pictures showing immediately after application, immediately after showering, and my legs after day one with lotion. I did not use a washcloth or loofa in the shower the morning after, just body wash and my hands. I then applied lotion and went on my way. I did return to using my loofah on Day 2. I’m on Day 4 and my tan still looks good! Obviously from the picture you can tell I’m very pale normally so this is a perfect ‘week on the beach’ color for me! Hope this helps!

I have used the Loving Tan mouse’s for the past 3 years and LOVE them!! They are very easy to apply, go on smoothly and easy to fix any streaks they leave. I have always been impressed with how long the tanners stays on between uses!! The dark is DARK!! , but perfect for the spring and summer!! Tips: •I exfoliate and shave before application and don’t again until I HAVE to. *I found it reduces my nails from turning colors when I put lotion on my finger nails and toenails prior to application. *I also recommend using a kabuki brush when applying on your face, neck and feet. Put it on the small application mit and dab the kabuki brush on there, then apply to my hands and feet. Con: I have been very disappointed in the price increase though. You do not get enough uses out of the bottle for the price. However, it is by far the best self tanner I have found.

So easy to use. It goes on easy but dries quickly so you have to buff out immediately. The color is amazing on the day of application and after showering. It slowly fades over time but keeps the color for about a week. I like this product because it doesn't come off as streaky as other self-tanners I have tried. It is not a stinky self-tanner. I have not had any transfer issues after application like staining of clothes or bedding.

I was using the 2 hour express. I found this product has more lasting power, it been 5 days and I still don't need to reapply on my body, however on my face, I could use another application With my medium olive sallow skin tone I like the color of both products ,picks up my skin, similar to the way I tan naturally. The only drawback, I like the 2 hr Express better on my face, it gives a nicer finish. I basically use it as an everyday casual foundation. Easy and natural looking. I just makeup my eyes and lips and I'm out the door. I may be buying each type.

Beautiful tan without the horrible self tanner smell! This is one of the only self tanners I have used that looks natural without the odd green or orange tones! It looks beautiful, goes on smooth and lasts me atleast a solid week! I purchased this in the dark tint and will definitely be purchasing again when I get low.

First of all, I really do LT sunless tanning products. They give me an incredibly natural color with zero issues of dryness, breakouts or orange cast. The negative thing to me is the price point…it may seem in line with other higher end sunless tanners, but it’s such a small bottle with way less product….at a premium price. If I catch it on sale like Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday etc I will probably repurchase, but for now I’m going back to Norvell…still good results but a much better deal. 🤷🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️

This is hands down the best self-tanner I’ve ever used. The professional strength delivers an amazing, deep color, and the quality is absolutely incredible. No streaks or orange tones in sight. Unlike other tanners, this one has very little smell, which is a huge plus. It applies smoothly, washes off beautifully after the development time without leaving any weird patches, and is incredibly long-lasting. If you want a flawless, natural-looking dark tan that stays put, this is the one!

Love this product, followed directions and achieved great results. For my medium/olive skin tone I used the (Dark For Medium to Dark Skin Tones) not too dark at all, rather a perfect shade, no streaks and worked well on my face even though I have sensitive skin. I also purchased the the (Bronze Shimmer) and it adds such a beautiful highlight/glow. This will most definitely be repeat purchase!

I’m a NC10 (very pale) and have 100% Irish ancestry. I do not tan. This is the real deal. I get it in dark and it gives me a very natural dark tan. This is on par or better than spray tans I’ve had in salons. I’ve tried every product under the sun and this one is the best.
