Fantastic
My time frame at the range was an 1hr, shot 200rds of 9mm and 200rds of the 45acp w two of these speed loaders. Worked fantastically. The trick: have the bullets facing downwards on the rail while loading them into the mags. Make sure the rail and inner channel are lubed.

This one works!
Edited:Talked to an Amazon rep and got a refund less the restocking fee. Ordered a new one hoping this one would work because I just can’t find this exact product anywhere else. This one WORKS!!! It works EXACTLY like it’s designed to work! I think the one we got before was probably the first or last of that batch when it was made. Happy I reordered!!This did not work as advertised. From the start ammunition gets stuck, jams and stops the process. Will not be buying this again. Total waste of money. I’d really like my $ back but it says the return window has closed.

I got the .45 cal version. Starting out it tight
First up, MUCH better using this than loading individual rounds. My SAR K-2 has 14 round capacity. This makes it a lot easier to load.Difficulty I have is getting it started. 45 cal are large rounds. The first one or two always seem to jam right away and take a LOT of pressure to get them moving. Once they go in the next 7 go in a flash. Note, the stem on this can really only hold about 8 45cal rounds and work. Anymore and the line of rounds is too long to fit the handle on.

45ACP - Two units, both defective & very dangerous, rounds jam at bottom of rail and inside unit
If you're using this for the .45ACP round, don't buy it. I've tried using two of these and this product is badly designed or defective & very dangerous to use.I ordered one of these for .45ACP and rounds would jam at the bottom of the rail. Sent it back to Amazon for an exchange...and the replacement unit is even worse. The rounds jammed at the bottom of the rail, but the first round jammed inside the unit and I've tried everything to remove it, without success. The photos I've attached are of the replacement unit with the .45 round stuck inside. I've used gun oil, WD-40, and a lot of pressure to try to break the round free, but nothing works. I've used enough force trying to remove it, as well as prying on it with leverage, that the bullet's copper head is damaged and pushed back into the brass casing...yet, it remains stuck in the unit.On both units, I followed the directions to lightly oil the rails and ramp and to properly use the unit...but all that was useless, since the rounds became jammed anyway. Now I'm stuck with a unit that has a live & damaged round jammed inside. How am I supposed to return this to Amazon for a refund, since it would be too dangerous to send this back with a round jammed inside? The body is one-piece molded, so I can't use pressure to separate the body. The only thing I can do is try to shatter the unit with a hammer to free the round, then send the pieces back to Amazon.

thumb saver
this is definitely a thumb saver, it is way quicker way to load your magazine

Don't try to load more than 3 rounds at a time.
Requires a fair amount of force to load more than 3 rounds at a time.

Works Great
As long as its a standard box of ammo with trays holding the ammo, it is byfar the fastest and easiest method of loading. Without a tray you can single load them onto the speed loader itself which does make it easier on the thumbs, but relatively the same speed as directly loading the magazine.
