I love these! I make a lot of soups, stews and stocks. I hated having to skim the scum that develops. These make that easy and satisfying. Getting rid of the scum allows for a clear broth and it just looks great for the finished product.

Well made, skimming was very easy.

I love this when I’m frying a large amount of things. I not only can scoop up smaller items, but I can filter out all the burnt fragments that used to muck up my later fry sessions. Great for straining bacon grease as well! The only negative is this isn’t really dishwasher safe as it’s so sensitive and easy to tear the mesh screen. Hand washing can be trickery unless using a soft sponge and scrubbers can also get caught on the screen.
