Saw on blacktail studio video and thought I’d give it a try. Absolutely perfect application and was easy to prepare, results were great. This was the pure version

Provides a great finish, used on chopping board and looks great even after 6+ months. Dries is around 24 hours. Easy to use, just make sure you read the label/ online guidance for splitting ratios. Slightly expensive, but great stuff!

Interesting one coat waterproof wood oil - easy to apply and effective

Superb product, so much better than Osmo table oil. Easy to apply if you use a plastic applicator not a brush. Give it time to cure and follow videos on application. Really delighted with finish and its durability so far. One little bottle did two coats on an 8’ table and I still have half left.

Can't fault the product but ridiculously expensive for what it is (essentially linseed oil and a hardener) - hence my three stars. If the price came down by 30% I'd have given more stars. I have subsequently switched to using Nordicare hardwax and I am not disappointed by this decision.

I just can’t get a nice finish with it. It’s always dull and lifeless. This is my third attempt with it to again poor results. Tried following multiple different methods. All on oak but each time I just find it very dull and always go back to Osmo. I have used the cotton white on American white oak which gave a lovely colour but again, dull finish.

I recently bought a second hand walnut table…after many hours of sanding it down and softening the edges I vacuumed and cleaned the wood, then applied Rubio monocoat (pure), it completely restored the table and looks fantastic. I get a lot of compliments, you really don’t need much either I’ve got a 220cm (L) x 90cm (W) x 7cm (D) table…used this and had plenty leftover…use it frugally and really buff it in. You will not regret using it!

Die Dauerwerbung der Woodworking-Influencer hat ihren Dienst getan, sodass ich mich kürzlich auch für das doch recht teure Produkt von Rubio entschieden habe. Testweise in der kleinen Flasche, auch wenn die größeren natürlich vom Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis besser dastehen. Leider musste ich online herausfinden, dass das Mischverhältnis der beiden Komponenten 3:1 beträgt, die Info hätte ich mir auf der Verpackung gewünscht – vielleicht habe ich sie aber einfach nicht gefunden. Zwei klare Pluspunkte: – Durch die zwei Komponenten trocknet das Öl deutlich schneller, als ich es von Leinöl und -verwandten Produkten kenne. – Der Geruch ist deutlich angenehmer, Sprüche wie „Dein Holz stinkt wieder so“ habe ich dieses Mal nicht vernommen. Ich habe mit der kleinen Flasche bisher ca. 1,5qm geölt (tatsächlich nur einfach), das Öl scheint relativ ergiebig zu sein und hat beim Nussbaum auf den Fotos tolle Dienste geilestet. Wenn sie leer ist werde ich vermutlich die große nachbestellen.

Sí, queda un acabado bonito la madera en un tono mate realza muy bien las vetas, pero no rinde lo que dice ahí. Yo le di lija hasta 180 a una mesa de más o -60, 70 cm² y me llevé casi media botella, porque si se absorbe y por el precio se me hace que es un producto caro

✅ Points positifs Rendu exceptionnel, très beau fini. Application super facile et agréable, même pour un non-professionnel. ⚠️ Point négatif La capacité annoncée n’est pas correcte. Avec cette petite bouteille, je devais normalement pouvoir couvrir environ 4 palettes complètes. Or, elle n’a suffi que pour 5 marches d’escalier. 💬 Conclusion Je suis très satisfaite du résultat final, mais attention à prévoir une quantité plus importante que celle indiquée si vous avez une surface conséquente à traiter.
