Expensive, but Clearly Better Than Other Grocery-Store Anchovies
These are unquestionably better than any anchovies I’ve ever picked up at a typical grocery store. The fillets are rich, meaty, and full of flavor without being aggressively salty, which makes them much more versatile and enjoyable to eat on their own. We love them simply over good bread with cheese, olive oil, and tomatoes—plus a glass of wine—and they absolutely shine in that setting. They’re bold and savory, but also balanced enough that you can actually taste the fish, not just salt. Yes, they’re expensive. But if you already like anchovies and want a noticeable step up in quality, these are worth it. This is the kind of product that turns anchovies from a supporting ingredient into the main event.

Disappointed in the quality.
I received these at the end of June with an expiration date of October 2026. Today in late July I was just about to open a can and noticed the cans was slightly swollen on top. When I opened one of them, the top exploded sending anchovies oil etc everywhere. I threw them all out as I am concerned about their canning process. I love anchovies and had never tried this brand before. Disappointing as I had heard good things about their quality. Swollen and then exploding cans do not inspire confidence in the safety of their products.

Tiny portion of disintegrated sardines
These are very small cans, be aware that they hold 2-3 sardines. Mine were not even recognizable as fish, but they were delicious. For the price, I'm not convinced it is a good deal. What you do get is tasty, but not packed in a way that will preserve the shape of the sardines. Mine were totally disintegrated in the can. Fortunately I was using them for a dressing so, no problem. But if I wanted a garnish, or a whole sardines in a bite, I would be out of luck.
