These are unquestionably better than any anchovies I’ve ever picked up at a typical grocery store. when i opened the first can I thought the anchovies looked dark and almost formless. I tasted a small bit and they tasted ok. I put some in my salad and ate it. One hour later I go sever diarrhea that last about 10 hours. I just opened the second can and the oil sprayed across the counter. I threw them out along with the third can. I eat a lot of acchoviesso I know what good ones look like I was careless in eating from the first can

Just made an amazing Caesar salad with these anchovies and it made all the difference. The branding is very cool, but the product is what makes this as it felt not only quality but trustworthy. Tomorrow I plan on making a pizza and trying anchovies on it for the first time. Fishwife has opened our family's eyes to a world of canned fish.

Made a puttanesca with these anchovies and it was tasty. Fresh, packed in olive oil and delicious. Definitely will buy again.

Fishwife Cantabrian Anchovies, while not inexpensive when compared to other off-the-shelf anchovies, are far superior in taste and quality. Anchovy eaters are a pretty small group comparatively so anchovies are not the usual topic of conversation . . . . go figure!!! But, if you want to try an excellent brand of quality "chovies" I enthusiastically recommend Fishwife Cantabrian Anchovies!
