The Imou 2K Wireless Security Camera is an outstanding addition to my home security setup! The resolution and video quality is clear and sharp, whether it's day or night, ensuring I can easily see details. The motion detection and two-way audio features work flawlessly, giving me peace of mind when I'm away. Plus, the camera’s weather-resistant build ensures it stands up to the elements. Overall, this camera offers fantastic value, reliable performance, and excellent video quality. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enhance their home security! I am running this alongside other Imou Wireless CCTV cameras (Although the others require power supply / sockets, this needs one charger per month if that) and I must say I am very impressed with the products and associated applications. Easy to use, never let me down. People comment on the quality of the camera output when I show them on the phone app. Highly recommend IMOU CCTV products.

I bought this battery camera to monitor my backyard. Installing this camera only took a few minutes, and I didn't need to drill any holes or lay any wires. Looks elegant. The picture quality is also amazing, and I can see everything clearly even at night. The detection is quite sensitive, I set it to human detection only, so I wouldn't get alerted every time the neighbor's cat came by. The only problem is that it only supports 2.4Ghz wifi. Overall, I must say, it's worth every penny! It's like having my own little security guard watching over my backyard. Now I can sleep soundly knowing that my camera has got my back.

Just set up my cameras. They now come with USB C charging sockets and a USB A to USB C charging cable. The magnetic mount has been replaced with a double sided sticker. I was a little disappointed as I chose this camera because the magnetic mount would make it easy to remove for charging. Now you have to unclip it if mounted on the wall. Never mind. They are easy to set up, set up an account, scan the QR code, enter your WiFi details and they start working. They come 25% charged to will need a boost. The app is a bit fiddly, but not impossible and with a little trial and error you will find that it’s possible to set them to ‘arm’ either to your own set schedule (a different schedule is possible for each day of the week. Or you can just set them to ‘arm’ automatically when you go out using location function in your phone. I like this very much. The biggest issue I had with them is mounting them in the corner of a room. The horizontal layout makes this quite a faff. You can mount them vertically but there is no way of altering the app to show images 90deg round. Otherwise I like them. I have 2 for indoor use. They replaced my pretty poor Blink cameras and these are a massive improvement. At £30 with a voucher they’re a bargain. Not sure how long the charge will last is my only issue, especially as it’s now a faff to clip them from the wall mount given they’ve abandoned the magnets.

Product worked beautifully for a couple of months so I Bought two more of them. Upon changing WiFi service all three refused to pair to the new WiFi meaning that they are now useless. I have tried to reconnect them multiple times using the app assistance but with zero success. I strongly suggest that you avoid buying this device as it will only frustrate you when you’re unable to use it and you’re left with a pointless piece of expensive Plastic.

The camera is in a space where, there is extra light on, so the colour picture quality is good with the extra lighting. The wireless set up was not too bad, I downloaded the Imou App, and barcode App (never done that before, so I took my time, but got there in the end, luckily I did not have to make a support contact.) I used the sticky patch instead of screws, I prefer the patch much easier (only thing make sure you get it in the right place). Where can I buy some more sticky patch, if I want to move the camera to somewhere else please? Easy to keep track on camera battery using the App, so I know when to charge up battery (same method as charging a mobile phone). Having the Imou security camera is good during this society changes to helping personal safety. I think I chose the right Imou product for my current security needs. Thank you.

I bought this camera to detect cats so i could identify which ones were pooing on my driveway & I could then speak to the appropriate neighbour. The listing stated it detected animals so i bought it. I set it up & waited, the cats kept coming & the camera never triggered. I contacted customer service on 2 occasions asking for help who replied quickly with things to try, i made the changes to the installation based on their advice & still it didn’t detect the cats, i give up with it now. The camera quality feels good & it does detect vehicles & people. Battery life at first was very good, i only needed to charge it once a month, that has now reduced to once every two weeks and the settings are still the same as they were when i charged it once a month. If you want this camera to detect humans & vehicles then it will be ok for you however be mindful of my advice about the battery life as that has halved in less than six months

Keep in mind local storage is only 4GB! 5. **Timelapse Fun:** The timelapse feature is a bit of a gimmick, but it's surprisingly entertaining to play around with. **Cons:** 1. **Siren Letdown:** The siren is a bit of a party pooper. It's not loud enough to send intruders running – more like a polite warning than a deterrent. 2. **Audio Needs Work:** 2-way audio is okay, but the sound quality could use a boost. Sometimes it's like talking through a tin can. The Imou 2K is a budget-friendly, easy-to-use outdoor cam with a few quirks. Great for the basics, but if you're expecting a powerhouse, it's a bit like a friendly guard dog with a not-so-scary bark. Worth a shot if you want a simple setup without breaking the bank.
