Just what I needed to stiffen a shirt collar.

Works great for crocheted sun hats for the brim

It wasn't a bad price and it works well for what is for.

Worked well with my crochet wide brim hat making.

This is not 20 gauge wire, FALSELY ADVERTISED. The silver wire is 20 gauge and clearly thicker. The BENECREAT white floral wire is fragile and cannot hold the weight of hat brim.

This works for brim of crochet hat, but wish it were firmer.

This is 20 gauge wire so it's thin and bendy but pretty strong and great for adding a bit of structure to millinery projects. The cotton covering is really nice and makes it easier to attach the wire to buckram or other fabrics. It's a good price per yard and so far it's working well. This is perfect for hat brims you want to be able to bend and shape each time you wear them out for other projects where you just need a little extra structure.

Not 20 gauge wire. Thin flimsy. Well made and I’ll keep it for other uses but definitely not 20 gauge.

This wire is EXACTLY as advertised!! Such a great product.

This is definitely not 20 gauge millinery wire- the gauge of wrapped millinery wire is measured WITHOUT the thread wrapping NOT WITH IT. Thus this wire (measured with a wire gauge) is actually between 22 and 23 gauge and extremly soft. This is the second item from Benecreat that has misleading information. I won’t be purchasing from them again.

If you are looking for something stiff, this isn't the wire for you. It will deform at the lightest tough. But it is quite resilient to repeated bending and twisting. The cotton sheath is tightly applied and the wire beneath does not show through even with repeated bending. Very easy to work with and nicely bound with tie wraps.I
