That said, we do not see a reason why it would not be effective on a brick wall. **Q: Is this product a moss killer to be used if there is existing moss on the roof?** A: This product is used for prevention. Order RoofBeClean to get rid of your existing moss. **Q: Does any customer use it on wood deck to keep the moss/algae off?** A: Per the warnings on the application, I think that It might not be advisable to place the LiquidZinc where it can be in contact with the skin, bare feet, or perhaps pets walking on it. **Q: Can this be applied to painted metal roof? How many square feet will 1 gallon cover?** A: We generally say no to metal roofs, just bc the substrate. Our product is a weak acid and if there is a deep scratch in the roof it could cause corrosion. With that being said, I know people have used it on metal roofs before. It covers up to 3000 sqft. I unfortunately cannot warrant the product on a metal roof.
