I won't drop a star because this is exactly as described and was the cheapest supplier of this widespread design. However, I'm disappointed that the older design (which I had earlier bought from a different seller) has been quietly replaced by all sellers. Presumably they all source from the same manufacturer. The old design was much better. It was thicker and more rigid. The lid had easy clip on/off catches. The lid had seals above AND below the lid section making it more airtight and less likely to attract vermin. It was slightly less tall, but deeper front-to-back, making it more stable. The new design is inferior in every way. Be careful if you read glowing reviews - they may be from the earlier design.

Really like this pet food storage, sturdy and lid fit tightly on, added bonus with the cup attached to the lid, only reason I didn't give 5 stars was it's more of a cerise pink not purple!

Does the job well. It doesn’t appear particularly sturdy, but it is absolutely grand for the job. I’ve lifted it up full of dog food and it withstood the challenge. It exactly fits a 12kg bag of dog food so there can be no “topping up”. That’s probably a bad practice anyway. It did smell a bit when it arrived, but that dissipated within a week. I am leaving the food in the bag and cutting the top off. It should be easy to keep clean that way too. I love the little scoop. It’s a perfect size. The lid shuts nicely with a little click and it all seems pretty secure. My dog wouldn’t try to get at the food though. If you have a dog that would, it may not hold if they were persistent but I think it would long enough for you to catch him! All in all I’m pleased with my purchase.
