I have a small handmade bag business and I am over the moon about this book! It covers a comprehensive amount of bag styles, bag anatomy, process, fabrics, care, templates, and measurements. They also have a great chapter on recommended books, trade fairs, and spec sheet examples. It covers topics that I didn’t know that I should know.

This is a book to illustrate all the different kinds of bags there are and only drawings but very detailed with top and bottom, sides, backs and fronts. Great purchase for my leather shop.

As someone who is going down the path of product design, I needed something that would help me reference examples of handbag features while I sketch. This book is definitely something that is helping me while I draw my designs in more ways than one. I didn't go to school for fashion design or graphic work. I'm just using my God-given talent to draw and my passion and using the resources around me and I'm really happy I bought this book to push me forward on my journey. I would recommend buying it. Something in it can help you I guarantee it.

Easy to understand

Estoy iniciando en el diseño de carteras y bolsos de cuero y me pareció excelente este libro. Muestra una vista general de los aspectos que debemos conocer y aprender de todo el proceso para diseñar y elaborar bolsos y carteras.

This book is nice to have to be able to look at different types of bags, but doesnt have a lot of practical info on various handbags. Its more for people who are professional designers as compared to someobe who just makes bags for Etsy. Good for your library, but not very useful for the average sewer.
