Boldify Hairline Powder, Root Touch Up Hair Color Light Blonde 4g

I've been dealing with hair thinning, increased shedding, and recently seborrheic dermatitis, so I've become very careful about what I put on my scalp. Permanent coloring every few weeks wasn't helping, and I wanted something that would make my hair look better without adding more irritation.I've been using BOLDIFY Hairline Powder, and I'm pleasantly surprised. It doesn't regrow hair (and it doesn't claim to), but it does exactly what I hoped it would do. It covers gray roots between color appointments, makes my part look narrower, and reduces the contrast between my scalp and my hair, so my hair looks noticeably fuller.The powder is easy to apply, blends well with my natural color, and looks very natural. It stays in place until I wash my hair, and I haven't noticed any scalp irritation from using it.For anyone with thinning hair, especially if you also have a sensitive scalp, this is a great cosmetic solution while you're working on treating the underlying cause of hair loss. It has helped me feel much more confident on days when my hair isn't cooperating.I'll definitely continue using it between root touch-ups.

This Boldify Hairline Powder is perfect. I have grey hair but it's totally white in the frontal area. The powder acts as a camouflage at my part and blends in perfectly covering my scalp. My hair looks so mu fuller. No oily residue. Super easy to apply, just rub the sponge on the solid powder and pat it where you see scape. Stays put until I wash it out. I'm thrilled with Boldify Hairline Powder. Container is well designed and compact. It's secure but easy to open.

BOLDIFY IS A GAME CHANGER with one caveat: wish there was FDA approval on this product.I'm a female Asian-American in my 30s, so I have always had fine, thin hair. The worst part for me is this: the skin of scalp shows (no matter how much volume I try to put in my hair by styling/blowdrying), and I feel the fine/thinness is getting more prolific throughout the years!! In photos, my head/hair always has a white spot showing the scalp - which you can see from my first posted photo - plus, I'm also a professional musician so on-stage lights really exacerbate this issue. Throughout many, many years, I've asked hairstylists to part my hair differently and create more volume (layers!), but it never fixed the issue of having my scalp show. Having black hair and a really light-toned scalp is THE WORST. How could I possibly look like a professional?In desperation, I started looking up products on Amazon and came across Bolidify. I've been concerned about putting liquids (i.e. sprays, like the old Bumble & Bumble product I tried over a decade ago) on my scalp because I don't want my skin to absorb toxic chemicals* (more on my slight concern about one of the ingredients below.) When I read that Boldify are actually fibers, I decided to give it a shot.This product's goal of making your hair look thicker WORKS!!! The tiny fibers are dispensed through holes similar to a baby powder dispenser, and my method to apply is simply by holding it at an angle and tapping the bottle. Just a bit of advice: When you "pat it down" as the instructions direct, the fibers will rub off on your fingers, so I just apply by tapping, then use my hair spray (it's a Bed Head hard hold hairspray, which probably IS being absorbed by my scalp, but I'm digressing). The look stays throughout the entire day, and I've even fallen asleep with this product in my hair, and it's still passable the next day.If someone were to very closely examine my scalp (as in, look at my scalp from less than a half a foot away), I'm sure they'd see a tiny bit of strangeness, but no one is ever going to be doing that. As you can see from the second photo, it's very passable. My only hesitation in giving it a full-blown 10 out of 10 is the lack of FDA approval and that it's manufactured in China. One of the ingredients listed (fourth out of five) is DMDM Hydantoin - it's a formaldehyde releaser to combat the growth of bacteria in cosmetic products and I wish it listed how much is in there (according to some research, it is not considered unsafe if there is less than 1% of it in a product). I read that the shampoos by Boldify are FDA approved but want to know why this product isn't approved. Would love a response by Boldify on this matter.All being said, using this product has absolutely boosted my confidence. A few weeks ago, I had a major performance with professional photography taken, and the former issues with my scalp showing were non-existent because I used this. This product is indeed a game changer in covering up the scalp and making your hair look fuller. I WISH I had this product throughout the past ten years. Ever since buying this over a month ago, I've used it daily (I'm not sure how much of it I have left, so I can't say how long this bottle will last/hence, the true value for the money). I highly recommend if you're not worried about the FDA approval.

## This Stuff Is Magic for Growing Out My Silver! 🪄I have officially decided to take the plunge and **grow out my natural silver hair**, but I had one problem: my stepdaughter’s wedding was coming up and I was NOT ready to have that harsh grow-out line making an appearance in the family photos. 😂Enter this little container of MAGIC.It was incredibly easy to apply and blended the harsh line between my silver roots and colored hair so much better than I expected. A damp washcloth took it right off my skin with no problem.For anyone growing out gray or silver who wants to soften that awkward line of demarcation without committing to more hair color, this is AMAZING. It gave me exactly what I needed for a special occasion while still letting me continue my silver journey.**Easy to apply, blends beautifully, stays put until shampooed, and washes off the skin easily.**My silver can keep growing... I just don't have to advertise exactly where it starts in every photograph. 😂

As someone with a wider hair part , I worried that it looked unattractive and showed too much of my scalp. This hairline powder is great. The ash color looks natural on the scalp and it blends in well with your hair. You can’t tell that you’ve put a cover powder over your scalp. I also love the way it is packaged. It has a pull off lid over the powder and the sponge fits under the bottom. Easy to open and use. So glad I found this product. I think it makes my hair look great. So pleased with this hair powder.

I bought this to help camouflage a bit of hair loss I’m experiencing. I wear bangs and typically pull some of my hair into a clip and have observed that there is a larger amount of my scalp visible. I pull my hair back as usual, pull out my BOLDIFY Hairline powder puff and just dab it on that area and it truly minimizes the scalp showing thru. I typically then apply hairspray, as usual, to keep my hair neat. I’m not sure if this makes a difference in how long this lasts or not, but the coverage remains until I take my shower the next morning.This product is a little pricey but I’ve had this container for over 6 months and still have plenty of product remaining. I do, however, only need a small amount each day.This does what it says it’s supposed to do and I truly recommend this product.

I have thinning hair, and because I’m light‑skinned with dark brown hair, my scalp shows more than I’d like. I chose the black pigment since “dark brown” shades in similar products are usually too light for me. I really hoped to love this after reading so many great reviews!The product does deliver visible coverage and genuinely boosts my confidence. However, application takes patience. I needed multiple mirrors to make sure I didn’t miss any spots — after my first attempt, I could clearly see areas I overlooked when checking from the sides. I wasn’t wearing makeup at the time, but I would definitely apply this before doing my makeup on days I plan to wear any. I had some pigment transfer onto my ear and face and had to blend it off.I’m removing one star for the “water‑resistant” claim. After blending the product into my scalp, my hair got frizzy, so I lightly misted water and added hairspray to smooth things out. Even with just a light mist, the pigment transferred onto my hand when I checked it. Based on that, I would be nervous using this in rain, humidity, sweat, or anywhere near swimming. I can only imagine the streaks that might happen. I would also refrain from wearing with a hat since the pigment comes off rather easily.Despite that, I’m still giving it 4 stars because the results are real and confidence‑boosting. I wouldn’t use this daily — it’s a bit inconvenient for my routine, and I noticed a visible dent in the product after one use, so I imagine it goes quickly. But I’ll absolutely keep it on hand for indoor events or days with zero chance of rain. The small container is great for travel, and it fits easily in a makeup bag or purse. I also appreciate the built‑in applicator.Cleanup was easy — somewhere between removing eyeshadow and mascara. If you have very thin or sensitive skin, I wouldn't worry that it needs any scrubbing for removal.Overall, it works well and looks natural once blended, but moisture is definitely its weakness.Here are my before, during and after photos.

I love this powder. It is so much easier to apply than the spray. I can’t always get the crown or back of my head. It does come with a sponge applicator. However, get yourself a small makeup brush and use that to get to the roots. It is easier than using the sponge for small areas. I have thinning hair and it works great it covers the scalp. I see why this product has a lot of 5 stars. Well deserved. Price is right compared to others. Highly recommend.

The product turns out to be smaller than expected but the coverage is good. Not sure about the 48hrs, the longest duration I tried is only 13hrs and it is looking fine. Am satisfied.
