We have a patio with a 12-inch drop, and we needed a safe, gentle way to get our dog out to the yard without any jumping or strenuous stepping. At 6 feet long, the incline over the 12-inch rise is very gradual and easy for a recovering dog to navigate. It completely saved our backs from having to lift a heavy Lab multiple times a day. The ramp feels sturdy under a large dog's weight, and the traction is great, which gave our pup the confidence to use it right away. If you are managing post-op recovery for a big dog, do your back and your pet a favor and get this. Highly recommend!

This works but needs to have stronger, larger hinges and an adjustable brace to sturdy up the center of this ramp. It does not feel sturdy but it is sturdy enough.
