LED Light Bulb

These bulbs were intended to replace 20W halogens in the WAC under-cabinet linear fixtures used my kitchen sink. I was worried if these 2.5W bulbs would really be able to replace the (hot) 30W halogen bulbs currently used, since these are meant to project just a couple of feet and my sink bottom is four feet from the light.But these babies did the trick! They were very easy to install, thanks to the extra-long pins (needed because otherwise the bulb's disc will hit the edge of the hold in the metal bulb well). The color is a "hot daylight" tending toward bluish, which is okay for my needs. I left some of the halogen bulbs installed so I could compare the LED bulbs. The LED bulbs seem brighter, even though they are 25W equivalent (maybe that's the color difference though; the halogens are warm white). On the other hand, those 40 LEDs outnumber other G8 LED bulbs.The only minus is that the bulbs had a tendency to flicker when dimmed. But I wasn't using a high-end universal dimmer to do the test, but my standard Leviton magnetic dimmer, so that might have been responsible. I would also have preferred to buy these in a 6-pack since my fixtures are each 6 bulbs (or 3 bulbs).But these are a good investment, provided they meet the advertised 30000-hour lifespan.

Too big for any of the puck lights that I have. Electrodes/prongs too long, as well.And they flicker on lower settings.More than likely, the flicker is a problem with the controller, rather than the lights themselves.But the fact that they are too big and have dangerously long prongs gets a bad rating.

These are awesome. I use them under our cabinets. The previous halogens were melting our appliances from the heat. These can be on all day and you can put your hand on them. Not with the halogens! They are brighter as well. More 'white' light. Excellent product! Oh also this came with a small USB plug in LED gift. How cool is that?!? (No review was requested by the seller. I am posting this of my free will, without exchange of gifts, payments, nor reimbursements of any kind).

The bulbs are fine, just make sure they will fit in your under the counter lighting. We had some difficulty adapting it to ours. Otherwise th lights ar clear, just like we wanted.

Excellent service. The bulbs put off a lot of light. Looks much better than the old yellow halogen bulbs. Dims great with our 3 level dimmer.

Very Bright and fits in the puck fixture perfectly.
