Tao Te Ching (Dao de Jing): The Way to Goodness and Power (Chinese Bound)

This is a really beautiful book, the binding is gorgeous and the paper is wonderful quality. Each page is doubled over giving it a more substantial feel as the text itself is only short. The printing feels very special and I really like this translation. I love it! I bought this for myself but it would make a wonderful gift.

I was attracted to this particular version of Lao Tzu because the Chinese text was included. Unfortunately instead of separating each line, they are all jumbled together, and centered. As a result the producer does unforgivable injustice to the beauty and rhythm of this great work. The poetry in Lao Tzu writings is lost in this layout. I suppose the translators did not intend the book to be read by someone who is bilingual. The one redeeming merit is the stylish cover, paper, binding and type size. For this I award one star.

1. La traduzione: se sei disposto a scoprire i misteri del DAO, questo libro non fa per te, ho dovuto parafrasare ogni riga della traduzione perché avesse un senso. Sembra che il traduttore non capisca il significato ma lo traduca basandosi esclusivamente sulla lingua. 2. Il design del libro: Sembra carino, ma è molto scomodo e progettato solo per sembrare carino ma non per essere pratico. Le pagine sono raddoppiate, quindi quando lo giri si gonfiano e creano un arco, so perché l'hai fatto, perché questo libro ha 100 pagine e volevano farlo sembrare più grande. Per concludere: questo è un giocattolo, un imbarazzo per il messaggio del DAO, il messaggio dell'Esistenza Universale e Ritrovarsi come uno con il creatore della Vita. è un souvenir, che non dovrebbe mai essere letto, dovrebbe avere un bell'aspetto, e questa è solo la funzione di questo libro.

La edición está muy bien realizada, vale la pena al 💯. Y obviamente pues el contenido es extraordinario para meditar cada día. Saludos
