Merrell Unisex-Child Trail Chaser 2 Jr Hiking Shoe

Bought this for my step daughter who’s going to be climbing many mountains on a trip. This is great for this types of terrain. Fits her great and the shoe is sturdy and still comfort for her.

I love Merrell shoes.My son and I both have wide feet, and I love that they give you a wide option.Tons of traction and protection.We hike a lot, and my son is rough on his clothing, but my son's shoes still look practically new. They are very good quality and hold up very nicely.I won't be buying again because we are making the switch to minimalist shoes, but the quality of these shoes is unsurpassed.I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for super supportive, well-made shoes for all of your outdoor adventures.

This was the first pair of Merrell's that I purchased for my child. He shares that the shoe is easy to put on, very comfortable and true to size. The shoe is holding up well and I recommend it.

Update:I returned the first time I had an issue with this product and ended up getting replacement. Must have been a fluke with packaging / warehouse. I’ve since ordered I think 5 or so of these shoes for my two boys for the next few sizes as honestly the quality is phenomenal (outside the one shipment) and they’ve worn nicely and my kids love them. Definitely would recommend.First review I think I’ve written, but I was disgusted as it appears there is mold on these shoes. The box was in a bag but had some minor damage to the box itself (not Amazon bag, so seemed weather proof). Maybe there is a mold issue in the warehouse? Never seen this before - returned it promptly, can’t gift my kid these. Hoping the other pair I ordered for my other son (shoes in transit) comes in better shape

The quality of these appear to be very nice.We did receive the wrong color and size, however that is quickly remedied though Amazon.The shoe itself is very nice, we would have kept the shoes if the right size.The blue, gray and green is very nice.These also have very nice tread.

My oldest son shreds most shoes within 2-3 weeks of wear. I don’t know why or how. I have tried so many “durable” brands for him and most still don’t hold up. This shoe still has no holes, tears, or other issue that would make them unwearable after 4 months of my son wearing them daily. The bottom is very grippy, they are easy for my son to put on independently, and they seem to provide very good support.These are very good shoes, and I ordered another pair in the next size to have on hand. I definitely recommend giving these a try if your child needs a sturdy sneaker.

These shoes are rather horrendous. but they were heavy and durable so I know they’ll last. My son chose new balances over these e cause the looked cooler but I would recommend if your kid doesn’t give a crap about looks these shoes will definitely last until they grow out of them
