Each one gives me around five hours of smoke, which is plenty for most cooks. They light easily, stay lit, and put out a nice steady smoke. I actually cut one of mine in half so I could pack it tighter for a shorter burn, about two and a half hours, since that is all I usually need for smoking fish. That is just something I did for myself. The stainless steel feels solid and they stay in place because of the hexagon shape. Overall, a good set that does exactly what it should. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great addition to grill! *by on Reviewed in the United States June 23, 2026* Had to try it out immediately.Filled it with apple wood smoker pellets and lit it with a small propane torch.Worked great!Tip: Heat the tube at the top on all six sides in addition to "from above" - see image. This really helps getting the flame started! If you don't need it to burn out completely, wrap it tightly in thick tin foil to extinguish it, let it cool and empty it out to sort the pellets from the ashes.Had a small ~ 3-4 lbs pork loin roast that I had larded with herbs/garlic/ground white pepper/salt and let dry overnight in the fridge.Put it on the top shelf in the grill - NO burners lit!The roast was smoked for 1 hour and did not reach more than ~72 F from the fridge temp, and was then cooked in a 325 F oven until 125 F. After pulling it from the oven, it slowly reached 145 F and ready to eat!Yum...Compatibility: Used in a Weber 2-burner gas grill - works great. Will expand on this, building a small "smoke house" to see and learn about smoking, primarily later this fall when it is cooler outside.Easy of use: If you light is as I described, it burns fine.Ease of cleaning: To clean, just dump the ashes and residual pellets (if any) and shake it out.Enjoyment: had to sit and watch it, since it was the first time I used it!Durability: seems OK, it is blueing from the heat, but that was fully expectedRecommended?
