365 Everyday Value, Organic Tomato Paste, 6 Ounce

Tomato paste is a pantry staple whether making tomato sauce or to add an intense savory element to foods without the addition of significant liquid. This organic variety contains nothing but tomatoes and citric acid. This 365 Everyday product is a favorite because along with the expected rich red color the flavor has less bitterness than some brands.Depending upon intended use a little sweetener may be necessary but I needed less because the tomatoes used are slightly sweet all on their own. I prefer the version without salt so I can season to my preferences. To estimate shelf life, the can in my prime pantry box had a Best By date two years in the future, but this will vary.

I did not buy it because it was organic I bought it because it was a great price. It had lots of flavor and worked well in the chili I was making to add that extra zing. So don’t let the organic scary away :-) it’s great very great taste ^

Versatile Organic tomato paste! This paste can be used in so many dishes. It has great texture and flavor. I made 2 fall soups lately and this product made it that much yummier. It is a small amount of product for the price. So, so value for the money-3 -stars...maybe a 2.5.I love that it is organic...that is a big plus! Now, go make soup! or chili...or tacos...you get the idea!Highly, highly recommended.

It’s better and purer flavor that all the sauces I have used in my life. I wish it was available with same price for Amazon prime because I don’t have pantry membership then I think I would only use this brand for the rest of my life?

I use this tomato paste in my meat sauce and to flavor and thicken other dishes. It’s just as good as some of the more expensive brands I’ve used. It’s a great value too!

It's a tiny bit saltier than the other brands, but it saves me from having to add salt so I don't mind. Tastes good and has good consistency.

Had no idea that cans the size of a thumb existed. Haven't opened it but if this is that good and concentrated it means that it wont be a one time use. Hence why you should buy the tube which you can close and reuse, this is simply a throwaway item, take a spoon that you may need and throw the rest out.

I use this all the time. Taste great and healthy. At a reasonable price.
