I would buy another in an instant!!!
I have been looking for a portable monitor with a gloss finish. After reviewing A LOT of monitors, and following Arzopa on TikTok as it was and is very popular, I chose this one. I am so very happy with this monitor. I know it is a matte finish screen, however after several recommendations on how this would be the best option for someone studying graphic design I purchased it. I work with Macbook's and the connection is seamless. I position the Arzopa in different postitions as an external monitor depending on how I am set up. It is either the bottom monitor so the mouse goes from top to bottom, or on a side. The color is amazing and the clarity and sharpness are true to the description. It is easy to adjust the color, brightness, etc. I am able to get work done with ease and quickly. The size makes it easy for me to take on the go as I am at different locations to study. Granted it is powered off the laptop, I am never worried about it shutting down. I highly recommend this particular model for anyone working in or studying graphic design, and/or in the business of creating. The size of the screen is great and being able to set the display size to various settings, such as 1280x800 to 2560x1600. This allows me to see what project I am working on in order to see up close or multiple images at once. Arzopa customer service is great as well. They reach out after you register your device with an email letting you know where to contact them in case anything is wrong. I really liked this as I look through emails for information more than a manual sent with the product.

The Ideal Sweet Spot of Portable Monitors!
After a ton if research and some Hand wringing over the many portable monitors to choose from, I got this one and haven’t looked back. It’s a great size, not too small but not too big which makes it easy to lug around - especially since it’s so light. Functionally, it’s super easy to set-up and the monitor is bright enough for a room with lots of windows which helps a ton. Picture quality is great. I worried about the built-in stand but it works fine, is elegant and seems to be sturdy. No issues. This is a great all around, do-it-all monitor that will get most people most of what they need without breaking the bank. Would definitely buy this over lower cost monitors, but I’d also think twice about spending more than you need to. Unless you have speciality needs like intense gaming or graphic design, this is probably going to hit the sweet spot of the most functionality, the highest quality and the best price (and specially for a bright screen), in this price bracket. Would definitely recommend.

Great Buy
This is a sleek looking, lightweight, portable monitor. I have used the monitor all day, everyday, for the last 3 weeks or so. I am really happy with the monitor connected to my laptop via a Thunderbolt 4/5 dock. Audio output is decent but not for audiophile. On the other hand, I am definately impressed by its brightness, color, and crisp image quality, though I haven't used for gaming. I really love it!

Crisp, beautiful color, and remarkably bright. And awesome companion to MacBook.
I work outside every day with my laptop and needed just a bit more screen real estate. I tried a different brand portable display a few years back and while I found the portability fantastic, the resolution just wasn’t there. Also, that display had difficulty getting bright enough when the sun came out. This display is crisp, has beautiful color, and has enough nits to keep up with the sun. In other words, I’ve been using this in just about every condition imaginable and I think this display is awesome. I connect it to my 14-inch MacBook Pro with the supplied cable and it’s totally plug-in play. Just open your settings, adjust the arrangement of the monitors to match how you have yours set up, and that’s it, you now have an extended desktop where you can easily drag your mouse between displays. Honestly, for the money this display is really hard to beat.

Good portable monitor for the price
I bought this portable monitor mainly for gaming as a second screen, and I’m satisfied with it. The display is clear and bright enough, for gaming or general use it looks good and gets the job done. Size is reasonable and makes it very portable. Setup was very simple. Multiple cables are provided. I use One USB-C to USB-C cable for power and display. I also appreciate the built-in kickstand, it is stable and I don't need any additional support. I sometimes have problems with connectivity but I'm not sure why. However, do notice that when you use a portable screen with higher resolution than your laptop, sometimes games have problems with rendering. If your Steam games is stuck in loading do check that. Overall it offers solid value for the price. For gaming as an extra screen it works well and I would consider buying from Arzopa again.

Thin, light, looks good, works good
Nice, portable, lighweight monitor. I bought two and am pleased with the size so it can go in a carry-on or backpack. Unfortunately it doesn't have a carrying case, so I use the box it came in (the retail box, not the Amazon shipping box) and the sheet of packing foam.

Best I've Had Without Spending a Fortune
This is the third external monitor I've gotten and it's easily the brightest and clearest. You can plug it in for power but I haven't had to do this--just connect to computer and go. It did take a little messing around with the settings to get the brightness and colors to match my computer. Honestly, it was a pain in the butt, and you'd think it would be designed so that the default settings are bright, but it got there. Resolution is very good and it has an integrated kickstand. Other than whining about expending a little effort to get the brightness and colors the way I want, I have no complaints. Pro tip: make sure you have a good USB cord to connect to your computer if you lose the one it comes with. It can make a difference. All cables are not designed to carry video.

Get a 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 monitor instead
I have had this monitor for a couple of years and use it for business trips. Here is my experience: 1. Make sure you keep the original monitor cable and don't just toss it in a bin with the rest of your USB cables. The original monitor cable will be enough that you can both fully power the display and actually use it as a display. Your nice braided USB-C cable probably doesn't support video and your USB-C video cables might not provide enough power. 2. The stand works, and is probably the only style of these monitors that works in vertical mode, which is how I tend to use this monitor. It's a little wobbly, but it does the job. 3. This monitor does not come with a case. I use an old laptop sleeve. If I was to buy it again, I would probably go with a monitor with an integrated case that then becomes the monitor stand, even though those do not work well in vertical mode. 4. High resolution support is still not great for external monitors. I mainly use it with a Mac; even though the internal retina display (with even higher resolution) is handled very well, the computer can't seem to figure out what to do with an 16" display that's also very high resolution. Windows laptops have better scaling options, but even then, some applications don't play very well (e.g. menus are still way too small). For this reason, I recommend saving your money and getting a 1080p monitor as that will just work more seamlessly for typical business use cases. Overall though, it works quite well and I was suprised by how thin it was. If you frequently find yourself working on-the-go, I recommend this monitor.

Excellent portable second screen for working while travelling
I bought the ARZOPA Z1RC 16″ 2.5K portable monitor for an overseas work trip. My main use case was working at various overseas locations, with the monitor acting as a secondary screen beside my Dell laptop. This included working at hotels, client offices, and occasionally airports while waiting for flights. For that setup, it worked extremely well. The most important thing to check before buying is whether your laptop’s USB-C port supports Power Delivery and DisplayPort (DP Alt Mode). If it does, you can run the monitor with a single USB-C cable that carries both power and video, which makes the travel setup very clean and simple. If your laptop does not support that, it is still perfectly usable. You simply use: USB-C cable for power, and HDMI cable for display All the necessary cables actually come in the box, which is nice and means you don’t need to buy anything extra to get started. That said, I strongly recommend buying the ARZOPA U-shaped USB-C cable separately. The ports on the monitor are located on the left side, so when I place the monitor on the right side of my laptop, a normal straight cable sticks out toward the laptop screen. The U-shaped cable bends toward the back of the portable monitor and then toward the right, which keeps the cable neatly out of the way and makes the side-by-side setup much cleaner. The build quality is very good. The casing appears to be aluminium, which makes it feel more solid than many of the cheaper plastic portable monitors. It is slightly more expensive than the basic plastic models, but in this case you get what you pay for. The buttons for brightness, contrast and settings feel very clicky and well made, not mushy like on some budget displays. The main selling point of this monitor is the 2.5K resolution (2560×1600) on a 16:10 IPS panel, which gives slightly more vertical workspace than standard 16:9 screens. Text does look a bit sharper than a standard 1080p portable monitor, although I wouldn’t say the difference is huge. It is noticeable, especially when working with documents or spreadsheets. The refresh rate is 60 Hz, which might seem basic compared with gaming monitors, but for office work it is perfectly sufficient. In fact, this can be a good thing if you are working away from power because lower refresh rates draw less battery from your laptop. I often used it in places like airports or lounges while running entirely on laptop battery. When I first set it up, I used these display settings: Brightness: 100 Resolution: 2560 × 1600 Scaling: 150% Without scaling the text was too small to read comfortably. For comparison, my Dell laptop screen runs at 1920×1080 with 125% scaling, so 150% on the portable monitor felt about right. Overall, this is a very practical travel monitor for productivity. It is lightweight, well built, and the higher resolution makes it a nice companion to a laptop when working overseas. Hope this review helps someone considering it.

Arzopa Z1RC
I bought the Arzopa Z1RC display and I’m really happy with the colors and overall quality. It looks great and works well, but I noticed the price I paid was higher than what the same model goes for on AliExpress. Solid display, just a bit pricey compared to other listings.

Great resolution and brightness!
This is a great product. I was a bit sceptical, but it truly is feather-weight, almost. It’s not added weight or bulk to my go-bag—very travel-friendly! I wish though the power and video could be one cable. However, once set up, the colour and resolution are amazing. It’s a great companion to my MacBook M1 and works well as a second monitor, even in brightly lit rooms!
