- Gramercy Cocktail Smoker Kit - Indoor Drink & Food Infuser with Wood Chips

Just used this. Easy to setup and use. My husband enjoyed his smoked Old Fashioned. Makes you want to be smoking everything in sight!

Exactly what we needed for our small business to smoke our product. Did a wonderful job, set up and clean up were easy, and the smoke was powerful but not overpowering.

I previously had a cheap disk-shaped smoker that laid on top of a glass. You had to direct a butane torch downwardly through the wood chips and metal mesh into the glass. Smoke wanted to rise, so it was tough to get much smoke to go down into the glass. The upgrade to this fan-based smoker was amazing. This fan-based smoker instantly fills a glass with thick smoke, and only requires a regular lighter (no butane torch needed). My only knock on this fan-based smoker is that the rubber tube connecting the smoker to the plastic lid that goes onto a glass is short, and kinks easily, so it is tough to position the smoker and plastic lid in a way that works without kinking. I switched the tube that came with this smoker out for a longer piece of 3/8" ID silicon tubing, which solved the problem.

My husband and I no longer drink. Next month will be 1 year for us both. We are both into cooking. He had this in his watch list. He is wanting to open a food truck. I can't tell what food he is smoking, but omg it is really good! The price is good. The taste isn't overwhelming. I wish they sold the dome with it. It is easy to use and put together. It is good quality. My husband says he loves it!

I hesitated way longer than I should've about buying one. It's so worth every penny. Easy to use and effective on the flavors. Back for my second one, I use it that much. Be aware that if you're smoking with a resin you want to put wood chips underneath it so you don't clog your filter. It's not hard to unclog if you forget wood chips but it takes time and it's a pain. The open design makes it easier

First, the smoker concept is great and does work nearly as well as touted by Gramercy. However, the pictures on the Gramercy product page show a flat clear disc on a cocktail glass which includes a tube and accessory to infuse the drink. All of that implies that the disc is included in the bundle. BUT, it was NOT included in the package I received. On the other hand a dome is shown in anoher picture but there is a clearly statement that it is not ncluded. Further, a statement in the product information says: "The GKC portable smoker offers a CLEANING BRUSH, WOOD CHIPS, and replacement parts EXCLUSIVE TO OUR PRODUCT." NOT ENTIRELY TRUE! The brush and wood chips are included, as are 2 replacement screens and a small Philips screwdriver, BUT no flat cup covers for infusion or other “parts EXCLUSIVE TO OUR PRODUCT” are included as highlighted above. Operation: The unit assembles easily for operation, but the fan only runs (producing smoke) for 5 seconds, then just quits. But, the motor continues to run for some reason. After setting for 15 minutes the fan will run again, but only after tapping it hard, then only runs for 5 seconds, again. At this point, it is clear the unit seems to be defective, unreliable, enough so that I will return it and try to find something that works reliably. In sum, this product would be sufficient and ideal to keep if it would function reliably. One other issue: The product info on the Amazon site states: “BONUSES! You'll receive a downloadable recipe guide filled with tips & recipes…..” Not so! Now, 2 days after delivery of the product nothing to that effect has been received in my email account.. None of this is much of a confidence builder in/for Gramercy Kitchen Products, frankly.
