I bought this as a gift. The recipient said that they enjoyed putting it together. The pieces came in different bags so they could work on it in steps/increments. It tuned out very nicely and looks good as a decoration for a tabletop, etc. The details are designed well and I felt like it was a good value.

I felt like Attenborough meets Bob Ross—serenely assembling plastic feathers while contemplating the splendour of nature and how marvellous I am for choosing such refined décor. Bought this for my adult daughter for Christmas. She enjoyed putting it together and she had it completed in a few hrs. The details and beauty of the bird are awesome .

I enjoyed building this set and it looks great displayed on my bookshelf. There are some repetitive parts when constructing the wings but overall there is a lot of variety in the build and it was fun.

LEGO never fails to amaze. Was purchased as a gift and they LOVED it.

What a beautiful kingfisher scene!! It was so much fun to build this kit and the end result is superb. The design is very well thought out and executed. Another outstanding Lego piece to display with pride!!
