So quick and easy .... great oven dish, easy to clean
Very good strong enamel cast iron oven dish. (It is rather heavy). We've had a Le Creuset one for 20 years, smaller size. Family has grown, eat more food..... this large dish is half price of Le Creuset but works just the same. We pre-heat it up to 230*C under the grill-oven, chuck in the meat, fish whatever, and turn the heat down to about 190*C and leave it. The dish holds the heat. Food "fries" on the cast iron and grills at the same time. Quick and easy golden crispy food, moist inside. It also acts as a "hotplate" for a dish of lasagne etc, placed directly on the pre-heated dish in the oven.

No le doy cinco estrellas porque el borde superior viene sin el recubrimiento cerámico. Pensé en devolverlo, pero luego me fijé en la foto de Amazon y viene así. No en la fotografía de la caja, en la que está completamente cubierto con la capa crema. En fin, supongo que por eso es tan barato. Por otra parte he de decir que salvo ese detalle, la fuente cumple con su cometido, se ve robusta y duradera. Es un tamaño grande. La he usado y todo bien.
