Great pilot light tube... Used it to build a pilot system without already having a pilot assembly

Did what it’s supposed to do
Had to reuse the fitting but everything else was perfect

doesn't fit
Wrong OD! It's too small for the 1/4" compression fitting! I don't have my calipers here to measure it, but it's wrong OD. Otherwise quality looks decent, but they need to make sure it's true 1/4", which it's not.

Lead is too short to use fitting plus a crimping tool
It was useless. Another 1/2" of lead would have made it work.

Extremely flexible, easy replacement
Replaced an old aluminum pilot tube in our pool heater that had an older (non metric) standard thread millivolt gas valve and this went in perfectly. Note that being made of stainless steel, the tube only bends where corrugated, not the inch or so at the very end at the connections. Total tube length is 24 inches.
