I like these.... the assortment of colors is good, they are sturdy, the clip works well, nice thickness of the board. No sharp edges on the clip with the plastic corner covers, which also serve to hold paper pad / items down. The board has rulers on the sides one side metric (left) and the right side inches (1-10 in in 1/16 gradations), these are molded in the plastic on the bottom side, so no worry of painted numbers that will wear off. One feature that I did not see in the ad is that in the chrome clip there is a pull up tab at the top with a ~ 1/4" diameter hole to hang the board on a nail or hook. I just found that by accident :-) Nicely and safely packed, received intact with no damage and good shape. Overall pleased; my wife saw these and left me with one, lol. I did get the color I wanted (purple). Happy to share as I actually ordered these by mistake and didn't need but one, I wanted the smaller size (5x7), so all is well.

These are exactly what I needed. They're as strong as the old fashioned kind, but not as heavy, and lovely colors. Great for arthritic hands like mine when I need a surface to write on, and my little grandson loves to use them also. Great product!

I have a thing for clip boards for some reason. The last ones I bought one at a time at a big-box office supply store and they cracked. These seem to be decent quality and I like the surprise feature of the ruler on one side. The colors are nice and the clip seems to be made well. We haven’t used these too much yet, but they will be put through their paces with my husband using one in his mechanic’s garage and the kiddos and myself using them everywhere else.

I purchased these for use in the exercise yards at the shelter where I volunteer. They have stood up to the hot sun, rain, etc. and physical abuse quite well! They hang on chain link fences with carabiners, and get almost daily use, as well as constant exposure to the elements! Not one has failed yet. The clip springs remain strong.

Bought these for myself and the ladies at work. The colors are cute and they arrived well packaged and none were cracked or scratched. They hold a fair amount of papers. We work in a hospital where we do unit inspections monthly and I keep my past inspections on the clip for my records and I have at least 20 sheets of paper and they are all secured with the clip I’m sure that I can fit many more. Looked really nice after accessorized with stickers. They are on the thinner side but I keep it in my locker so I’m not rough with it. If your looking for something that goes back and forth in a backpack I would maybe go for something a little thicker because I can see them snapping depending on how careful you are with them.

These clipboards scratch more easily than I'd like and can be stained, but they're cheap and it's one more thing that I can easily order online instead of scouring the stores for prior to the start of the school year. We have used these on a regular basis for months and have only managed to break one at this point. That was despite their habits of finding their way to the floor to be stepped on or burrowing down amongst the couch cushions to be sat upon. For the price I can't complain.

They are Acrylic, so they will eventually scratch and it will show . . . that's the "price" for transparent. The colors are nice . . . not saturated primaries, but satisfyingly deep (the green and orange fluoresce under UV, and are notably "brighter" as a result). The scales (rulers) are embossed on the back side, which substantially improves the "grip". Compared to the slightly less expensive generic "clear" it's all "plus" if you have the slightest inclination to color . . .
