Monza Hose Fed Pre-Car Wash Foam/Suds Sprayer

I couldn't get this foam bottle to work well at all. I went through £5.00 of expensive snow foam trying to do so. I have excellent water pressure and flow at home at around 6 bar (I know because I laid new large bore alkathene to replace the old mains pipe and then had it pressure tested).I'm not trying to "rubbish" this product - I just want others to understand what it can and can't do.There are two key issues, firstly, it just won't foam properly. We've all seen the pictures and videos of sticky foam on cars that clings and cleans. This product won't do that and the seller has admitted as much - "all types of mains water pressure lances do only produce a watery type of foam pre wash it is only the high pressure power washer lances that produce the sticky snow foam... You maybe best using a car shampoo solution through that pre wash bottle as the proper foaming solution works best in the high pressure lances".The second issue is that my standard hose lock (the domestic type we all use) just keeps flying off the foam bottle. The hose lock does stay on my pressure washer without a problem. It was suggested by the seller "Some hose attachments do vary from make to make so just make sure that is pushed in as far until it clicks into place if not you may need to pop into your local diy / garden centre for a different make of female hose attachment.".During the foaming and washing process I had to resort to hand washing as the watery liquid foam quickly ran my car. Not what I expected. Oh, and I had to get changed afterwards because I was drenched from the hose lock constantly flying off the bottle.I bought this product because I have an old pressure that isn't compatible with "proper" snow foam bottles. So, I had to resort to buying a product like this. I'll be replacing my pressure washer with an Alto or Karcher light commercial model in the near future.So, if you are expecting sticky foam that will cling to your car then this may not be be the product for you. I'm asking for my money back. I would add that there was a long delay in delivery (acknowledged by the seller) but the product was well packaged and the seller has always been courteous.You live and learn.

Arrived today !!I have'nt used it yet, but will give it s go tomorrow. Very well packet, and seems a lot better build quality than the sprayer I have been using.Used the sprayer, this weekend. Very good, foamed down two car's twice before and after hand washing.

Only lasted 8 months, previous one I bought again only lasted 8 months, the neck of the bottle cracks off, considering the price of these I expected it to last a lot longer.

Very easy to use and to adjust concentration, still appears quite pricey for what is a plastic bottle, but a fraction of the cost of 'professional' versions.

Hi I bought a couple of these a few days ago (Maxolen uk are similar) It works ok on the hose end if you've got decent pressure. I've only tried it with some triple wax in the bottle with some hot water but you might get better with some specific snow foam and or hot water in which case you might give it more stars. It's never going to give the same results as a power jet washer and is a compromise. But it does save the "two bucket method" and bending down when washing a car particularly if one has a dodgy back!!
