10Gtek DAC Link-Established with Ubiquiti Enterprise Firewall Core (25G/100G)
I purchased both the 10Gtek 0.5-meter 25G SFP28 DAC cable and the 10Gtek 0.5-meter 100G QSFP28 DAC cable to validate the high-speed interfaces on the Ubiquiti Enterprise Firewall Core. Since I do not currently own any other 25GbE or 100GbE switches or devices, testing was limited to back-to-back (loopback) connections between the UniFi Enterprise Firewall Core ports. The 25G SFP28 DAC cable successfully established a stable 25 Gbps link between the firewallโs two SFP28 interfaces. The 100G QSFP28 DAC cable likewise established a stable 100 Gbps link between the firewallโs two QSFP28 interfaces. Both cables were recognized immediately, and all links came up without issue (see attached screenshots). Because many buyers are looking for compatibility information, I am posting the same test results on the review pages for both the 25G and 100G DAC cables, as applicable. While I cannot comment on long-term reliability or interoperability with equipment from other vendors, I can confirm that both 10Gtek DAC cables successfully established their respective 25GbE and 100GbE links on the Ubiquiti Enterprise Firewall Core running UniFi OS 5.1.19 and Network 10.4.57 (firmware versions current as of June 24, 2026).

Great solution
Works great, used two for a 50Gbps inter-switch link

Works just fine at 25Gbps
This low-priced DAC cable works just fine at 25Gbps. Half a meter is a short run, so it shouldn't be too hard, but you can never be sure about what you are going to get in the bargain network cable market. I tested this with a Broadcom dual SFP28 PCIe adapter, and I saw full-rate data transfers with no issues. Currently priced at 7% off (under $14) during time of review, this cable is a bargain.

Great to connect Qnap to workstation
Worked to connect network card in Threadripper workstation to Qnap NAS. No connection issues, has been solid for several months now. Be aware the the nature of the connector it does stick out a bit and the cable itself is a bit on the firm side so its not going to be able to bend sharply.

These were 1/3 the price of the nearest competition, and a simple replacement and no other steps took me from 10 GB To 25 GB ! Bought 10, zero issues!
