Easy way to expand storage and make it more efficient

I bought this for my mother who has some open, built-in shelving behind her bathroom door. They look cheap and only fit an exact shelf thickness which is not suitable for most shelving

Broke within hours
I got these to organize purses in my closet. I installed them, they looked great. A couple hours later I went back into my closet and they had all broken, and there was pieces all over my floor. Do not buy, cheaply made.
