This cane was an excellent choice for my late 60s grandmother to get through a week of walking in Europe. The option to break it down / its foldability was very helpful when we were getting on a train or sitting in an establishment. It was also sturdy enough to hold her weight which made it comfortable for her.She still uses it occasionally while she’s out and about if there will be a lot of walking involved.

Works perfect for travel. Folds into a size that is easy to put in a car, plane, or suitcase. Very sturdy and light. The best cane ever made.

It’s a functional cane.

My knees aren't what they used to be and sometimes I struggle to get up...off the sofa, off the floor. I don't need a lot of support, just something that I can push against to get me going up. That it breaks down, gives me the right height and it fits under the seat in my vehicle.

This was for a milestone birthday for my friend and it's real, so someday she will need it. Very pretty and sturdy.

Well, I have been using it for 4 weeks now and sliced my hand open from the handle. Didn't realize that the company didnt take the rough egdes off. Thin piece of plastic or whatever on the handle has a very sharp center seam. Got a doozie of a cut. Beware if you buy one. Get a good file and file it smooth before you attempt to use it!!

a good purchase useful

I wrote the following review about another of these canes the week after receiving this one, my thoughts are the same:This is the 3rd of these awful canes that I've bought, but this time, I spent $2+ more than I spent on either of the 2 very same canes that I received last week from a different seller (which I immediately took down to the free table in my building, I'll be making another trip down there tonight with this one).These canes are too lightweight, have sharp edges on the outside end of every segment, an annoying plastic mold line down the middle of the handle, and, worst of all, a flimsy plastic locking ring that is apparently just for appearances (this doodad is what holds the whole thing tightly together, thus keeping you safe and the cane from rattling...I couldn't make it move, and I tried everything I could think of). The only good thing I have to say is that the blue color is nice, but who knows how long that will last.So, if you need a cane you can really depend on, do yourself a favor and spend a little more before the prices go up again.
