The work, almost to well. Our well gets silty every spring so we tried these to help keep it out of the house. They work but clogged much, much quicker than regular 1 micro filters

They work well at removing flavors and smells from my well water. It wasn't a whole lot, but I could tell. I have a UV light after my filters so my water is safe. So, I decided to use one of these as my final filter before the water enters my UV light. Very happy. Worth the cost and I didn't really notice any drop in water pressure.

This a hard shell carbon filter that appears to live up to its 1 micron rating, as I was able to achieve less 5 ppms of dissolved solids (TDS). The gaskets are set in place fine so they remain put during installation (a prior review said they weren’t). No instructions were provided for flushing, but I flushed it for ten minutes before using it to filter water as is typical.

I have well water which at times has alot of sediment in my whole house filter. I normally can use a 5 micron filter, but recently my well seemed stirred up more then usual making my water a little cloudy with the 5 micro filter. I put this 1 micron filter in my whole house system and once the water in the pipes ran its course it left me with exceptionally clean water. Will buy again.

We have a camper and the campground water has HIGH sulfur smell, this cut it down to a tolerable odor, but did not remove it 100% maybe 40% but considering without it I was seriously gagging. I would say if you have a mild odor you should be fine.

These are the best filters I have used yet. They cost a little more but are well worth it, in my experience.

I could tell difference almost immediately

I originally was using a 5 micron filter but there was still a slight odor and taste. I am extremely sensitive to odors and taste, doctors say it is a hypersensitivity issue but I don't want to take medicines. So I just deal with it. I tried these a few months ago in my whole house filter unit. Instantly there was no more smell or taste! I was not expecting that good of results. Extremely happy with these filters. When you use flavor water packets, the taste is clean and crisp now. Again, part of that is do to my sensitivity issue. But if these can take care of that for me, individuals with normal taste and smell can rest assured these actually help.
